I came to Stacey with a *few* picture and ideas of "simple and elegant" for an intimate, casual beach wedding at Asilomar State Beach and a 250 person wedding celebration at the Presidio Officer's Club in San Francisco. Stacey coaxed ideas out of me and eventually we had a plan. She really listened to what I had in mind -- and with her ideas and talent designed a really beautiful bouquet and arrangments. For my wedding ceremony -- I wanted a personal touch to incorporate my Mom and husband's father's memory (they both passed away) into the ceremony. In addition to having some gardenia blossoms to toss into the ocean, Stacey came up with the idea to fasten a keepsake charm locket to my bouquet -- with wedding pictures of both of our parents.

When I walked into the Presidio Officer's Club -- the orchid and monstera arrangements combined with the Classic Spanish architecture just wowed me! I absolutely loved how the simplicity of the Officers Club's "bones" and the elegane of her floral design complemented one another and completely evoked the cultural vibe I wanted: the Club could have been in old Havana or Intramuros, Manila -- nods to our roots in the Philippines and Cuba. She also used some taro plants from my Father's garden and wove them into the food table decor. The tall, slim vases with the taro leaves and roots exposed was a very unique and personal touch. My dad, of course, was loving it!

One bonus I am appreciative of is her genuine willingness to help. She offered to help out with a few small things - not even related to the floral design -- and I was able to offload my "guest book tree" to her, which she arranged much lovelier than I could have done. The days leading up to the reception, I had last minute errands to do for the guest book table. Stacey stopped by to pick up a the branches for my guest book tree (more things from my Father's garden for that personal touch) and offered to transport and set-up the guest book table, pictures and reserved table assignments. She eliminated both stress and a few hours worth of errands for me.

I can't sing enough praises about working with Stacey. Her approach is both polished and casual -- as easy as doing business with a friend, without the awkwardness of doing business with a friend!
