Exclusive cakes is a cute little shop set up in the murray area. when you make an appointment with her, she prepares ahead of time many cakes to taste and try. her shop is set up in a house they bought for the business. at first i was a little taken aback because the house doesn't look like much of a shop-it looks lived in and was pretty messy. the displays are beautiful though, and many people i have talked to said her cakes always turn out beautifully. when my fiance and i tasted the cakes, we were very impressed and it was hard to narrow down which ones we wanted in our cake. she is great in working with any design, you can choose one from her books or like me, you can bring in a picture or have her design one specifically for you. i actually only had to pay $200 for a three-tiered cake that serves almost 200 people because the reception center i am using(Carmelle Reception Center) pays a $200 dollar credit toward your cake if you use Exclusive Cakes. Overall, i was very satisfied with my cake and i would recommend others to try them.

Fantasy Bridal was a great place to go for bridal gowns. i spent a whole day looking around at different options in different stores. when i came to fantasy bridal, they were very helpful. i did call and make an appointment, which worked to my advantage although they can almost definately fit people in without appointments. the girl helping me was so cute and helpful. they had lots of dress options to choose from. i myself was concerned with finding modest dress options, but they had lots to choose from no matter what you are looking for. i quickly found two dresses that i absolutely loved, and the girl helping me was very patient while i went back and forth trying each one on about three times. the only problem i didn't anticipate was that when i went to order mine, i found out it takes almost two or three months to come in, so i would recommend to any bride to find your dress at the beginning of planning. fantasy bridal was awesome, they were helpful, had beautiful dresses, and pretty reasonable prices compared to many others.

Steve Spencer, the photographer of Silent Wave Photography is AWESOME! :) i spent hours and hours looking up photographers, viewing their galleries, and comparing their prices. By far, there was no comparison. He offered the best prices with the best options. When we sat down with him to book everything, he spent a lot of time helping us to customize our package to get exactly what we want. when we did our engagements, he spent a couple hours with us and let us take pictures at any locations we wanted in the area. he took almost 200 pictures of us to choose from with just the engagements alone. he also is extremely helpful in making himself available to talk to anytime. i have been able to call him with several questions and he is always more than happy to help me out. also, steve offers a much bigger printing credit in his packages due to the fact that he has connections with a printing business. he gets them far cheaper than anywhere else, and so the prices he offers are by far cheaper than any other photographer. you can find photography packages for this price anywhere, but what makes him stand out is that you actually walk away with a lot more. most photographers i looked at you pay all this money for basically their time, and then you ending up spending hundreds more for printing. with steve spencer, i think you get the best of all worlds

Carmelle is a great place to get everything you need for a reception in one place. I looked all over the Salt Lake valley for a place that was pretty and classy as well as affordable. The place is beautiful, it looks a little dated on the outside, but the inside has been redone recently and looks great. They offer a lot of great deals if you go with them. They offer 20% off invitations, but my favorite bonus was that they offered a $200 credit toward a wedding cake from a specific vendor that I was very happy with. Carmelle takes care of all the clean up, which i liked because it will save my family some stress. The only negative I would say is that when you book here, they require you use their caterer. But on the flipside, they had some great options and the prices seemed reasonable compared to many others that I had looked at.
