I first found Blue Cupcake on yelp because I knew I wanted to do a cupcake tower with a traditional cake on top. There were many vendors that did cakes or cupcakes but not many that did both. I was instantly drawn to Julie's website because of her use of fondant (I love the way fondant looks). Julie is French and she has tons of cupcake/cake towers on her web page. I love how her creations can be both elegant and cute and was just what I was looking for.

I really liked Julie and Ernae (the business manager) but the only thing I must warn you is that they are not the most responsive. It took a lot of calling and emailing to finally get my order with them.

At the end of the day, the cake was really cute as were the cupcakes. I also loved the little bird toppers that Julie made for me. They are still sitting in our fridge as we speak!

We decided to go with a solo guitarist for our wedding instead of the traditional trio or quartet to save a little money. We found Eric Brown off of gigmasters and contacted him right away. I actually booked Eric before meeting him since I was getting married in Westlake Village but living in SF. Eric was really nice on the phone and also through all our email correspondence. Eric learned a Michael Buble and Jason Mraz song for us to play during our ceremony. I met with Eric before the wedding and we went over the music selection. I thought he did a great job during the day and looked very professional. I would definitely recommend Eric.

Hands down the best prices for chiavari chairs. If you love the look but not the price tag, do yourself a favor and call Juanita. $4.50 in LA and $4.00 in OC and it includes set up and take down. We just had our wedding on 10/10 and the chairs totally made the ballroom look spectacular. Thanks Juanita!

I found Jenny through my photographer (Taek Photography)and I used Jenny for both my engagement shoot and my wedding day. Jenny was flexible and her prices are very fair. She's really nice and very hip.

I liked what she did for my engagement but I absolutely loved what she did for my wedding day. She did such an amazing job on BOTH my hair and make up. I loved the way I looked that day/night, better than what I imagined actually.

It's hard to find a make up artist that can work on Asian facial composition so thanks Jenny for making my wedding day absolutely perfect!

Candi Merle is amazing. I decided I wanted to wear a chapel length veil for the ceremony only so I didn't want to spend too much money on a pretty veil. I was introduced to Candi by my friend and Candi was very flexible, met with me at her house, showed me a variety of veils and helped me select the perfect veil for my dress. She never tried to sell me more than what I needed. She is very timely with her product and when I received my veil, I absolutely loved it. You will not be disappointed with your veil if it is made by Candi.

Tweeny Kau from the Flower Lab is absolutely amazing. We couldn't be more thrilled that she was our florists. Our family and guests loved the gorgeous, lush, and romantic flowers that Flower Lab created for us. Tweeny is extremely sweet and she works with all types of budgets. She's really concerned for her clients and truly listens to their vision to help them create the flowers to complement the day. Tweeny made the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding accented with feathers. They were romantic and elegant and just perfect. I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Flower Lab for your big day.
