I loved my experience with Yvonnes! It was intimate and I loved how they catered to me. I never felt like I wasn't their undivided attention. The one thing that really sticks in my mind is how they had me choose between three boxes and whatever box I chose knocked a certain amount of money from my dress. The box I chose knocked $100.00 from my gown. They also rushed my dress free of charge. It is normally $100.00 to rush a gown. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because during the alterations process, I felt that they did not really pay attention to the part of my dress I was having an issue with. I was told that it was OK and that what was creating the creases in my gown was my underwear. The day of my wedding I learned that, that wasn't the problem and the seamstress must have messed up somewhere. I wish they had just fixed it when I mentioned it b/c now I have pictures of my dress looking very lumpy. I spent a lot of money on my dress and alterations so I wished that it would have looked the way I wanted. Besides that, I had a great experience. They changed my dress from a fit to flare to a perfect mermaid and despite the alteration issue, I truly enjoyed my experience and would recommend them to other brides. Just be sure not to leave the shop unless you are 100% satisfied with your alteration process.

I purchased 15 table numbers from Giselle and they were just perfect! She did such a great job with them and I was so happy to have them. I actually had our venue save a table number for me that way I can have one for a keepsake. Giselle is great to work with and responds to all emails in a timely manner. She is very creative and everything she touches just looks amazing! I wish I had found her earlier in my planning because I would have had her do a lot more for me.

My DH and I have nothing but great things to say about the Century House! It was the best experience we had with any of our vendors. Marge, our wedding coordinator, listened to everything we wanted and did not want and completely came through for us. If I had a question, I called and it was answered right away. If I had a question, I emailed and it was answered right away. At one point, I asked Marge if she could give us our menu that way I could create our menus. She replied, would you like us to make them? I was in awe and shock and was like, how much extra? She gave that to us complimentary. This is just the beginning of the service we were given throughout our planning. Our wedding day was so beautiful and was like everything I had imagined plus more. Our cake was delicious and beautiful, the food and desert was to die for. We received so many compliments from our guests on the Century House and know that our wedding would not have been the same had we not had it at the Century House. Our guests RAVED about the food, candy station and chocolate fountain the Century House set for us. You had to be at our reception to see just how much they provided us with. Tables overflowing with delicious deserts and international coffees. It was just amazing. The biggest thanks from the bottom of our hearts to you Century House. I contacted Matthew 10 days before our wedding when we were advised that our first transportation option fell through. He was so helpful and gave us such a great deal by knocking $200.00 off of the normal price for our troubles. They were right on time on that day and really helped me get in and out of the limo which was a plus. He knew the directions and we had no worries whatsoever about being late or lost. After the ceremony, the limo driver was waiting for us with champagne glasses to hand us. What a great gesture! We had such a great experience with Today's Limo that I would recommend them to any bride searching for a great limo company in the Capital District.

This company was referred to me by PW bride knarotski who by the way had a great experience with them. DH called Joe two weeks before the wedding to confirm our wedding day arrangements. DH did not receive a phone call back until 4 days later and it was to learn that the transmission was broken so he would not be able to do our wedding. When DH asked Joe if he had any recommendations or anyone he could refer us to Joe advised him to look in the phone book. You would think that this vendor would care a little bit(since we were 10 days out) but since we were no longer going to be his customers he didn't care whether we were still given good service or not. Joe advised us that he would give us our deposits back (yeah, of course you would .. you broke the contract, not us!) but had to get all of our information again because he lost all of our contact information. Who does that? I guess he threw it out after he realized he was not going to do our wedding. We did get our deposit back so that is one good thing. Oh and at least he contacted DH 10 days prior to advise the transmission wasn't working. He could have easily just not shown up. The price is very good but they say ... you get what you pay for. Just know that since this is the only vehicle he has if something happens to it he will bail out on your wedding because he has no other choice. He won't help to refer you to another place because that isn't his job. We were very unhappy with the way Joe runs his service and I would advise unless you know you have a backup plan if something happens to his limo bus; do not book him.

A lot of people talk about the experience they had at Davids Bridal as being terrible. Lots say it is a hit or miss. I had 8 BMs all from different areas so Davids Bridal was the most convenient. 7 of my 8 girls had a great experience and the alterations was actually a very good price. The only reason I am giving Davids Bridal 4 stars is because one of my BMs who resides in Washington DC could not try on the bridesmaid dress because they did not have any of my BM dress in stock. This was very inconvenient for her because she wasn't sure what size to order and Davids Bridal does not accept returns. In the end, they had her try on a similar style (which she states wasn't really similar) and she was able to order her dress that way. Lucky for me and her it worked out. Whenever I went to Davids Bridal with my sisters they were very good and helpful to us. Overall, Davids Bridal was very good to my girls and they all looked beautiful on our wedding day.

Mike was my MOHs DJ and she had nothing but great things to say about him and DH and I recalled what a great job he did at our wedding! We emailed him and booked him right away without meeting with him because of the impression he left with us on her wedding day. On our wedding day, he was beyond fantastic! He had our guests on the dance fall all night and did not miss one song we wanted played! He even did a special request from me to play a few Ghanian songs as a tribute to my parents who are from Ghana. We were so happy with his service and will refer him to anyone who needs a DJ in the Capital District!

I bought earrings and the ever popular bracelet from Dana. It is absolutely gorgeous and everytime I show one of my friends the bracelet they are blown away! The service was great and it looked exactly as the picture! I would recommend Dana to everyone. She is so talented and a great seller!

Invitations was one of the things that we didn't splurge on. We were very surprised to find that Party City offers a huge selection of invitations for all styles and price points. It also helped that the day we went they were also offering 30% off all invitations. It did not take us long to choose the one we loved and looked far more expensive than it actually was. The quality is great. 100 invites, 100 RSVP cards, 100 Reception cards, 100 inner envelopes, 100 pre-printed (with your address) RSVP envelopes and 100 pre-printed outer envelopes (with your address). I will recommend Party City to any budget bride who wants the look for less!

I received 20% off for making a photobook & $20.00 off a shutterfly purchase of $20.00 or more, as a promotion when my fiance and I registered at Target. I wasn't sure what to expect but since it wasn't going to be a pricey purchase I figured it wouldn't be a huge loss if it was less than our expectations. I ordered the book Sunday night and received it Wednesday night! It was fast shipping especially since we picked the slowest mailing time. The book is great quality with thick pages and the pictures are clear and bright. I had a great experience and would recommend them to any bride interested in making a photobook.
