I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Target.com. They were so affordable I was able to cover the cost of the dress for my girls! We selected a plum Isaac Mizrahi party dress. It was an adorable dress. I ordered two sizes for each girl in case they didn't fit, and returns to the store were no hassle. Definitely recommended for brides on a budget!

I did not purchase my dress here, but I used the seamstress, Mary Lou Cortese, at CK Bridal for my alterations. She is technically independent from the store. Because I didn't purchase my dress there, I did have to pay a $30 fee to the store.
I came to the seamstress on September 29 and told her I needed a corset back added, a bustle, and an alteration to the neckline done by my wedding on October 11! She said she could finish it by the next Thursday -- boy was I relieved! And boy did she come through! The corset back looked beautiful, and her prices were very reasonable. We were very happy with her work and professionalism.

We held our rehearsal dinner at Golden Corral. We were able to use their private room, which was closed off for us. We had two servers assigned to our party, and they were very attentive and professional. It was a no-hassle, low-key event, the food was excellent and you cannot beat the price!

I can't even count how many compliments we got on this place. It's a very untraditional venue, with a number of lounge-type spaces and very eclectic, colorful decor. It definitely lends itself to a cocktail-style reception. Helen, the owner, and her crew went out of their way to make the venue look great for us and set up our candles and additional decorations for us without a second thought. We totally love how it turned out!
Jeff is very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. He gave us a comprehensive booklet and worksheet with many options on how to set up our ceremony. We got many compliments on our ceremony.

We used Bella Capelli for my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. Obviously the work is not top, top notch work like a pro would provide, but neither is the price! The students were supervised, and they all did a good job on the bridal party's hair and makeup, so I have no complaints. It takes a little longer for them to finish because they are less experienced so keep that in mind when scheduling. Definitely recommended for brides on a budget!

Pittsburgh Popcorn Company was very accommodating and answered our questions quickly. We bought three big baskets of popcorn and filled them ourselves to save money, so the price was very affordable. They can also assemble wedding/party favors for you in bags or tins. We made 210 favor bags, and had around 160 guests, and all but 10 of the bags were gone! So I guess people loved them. Their popcorn is delicious! Highly recommended.

We got a 24 passenger coach from Lenzner to transport our wedding party plus parents and grandparents. It worked out great! I had to call the day of the wedding to see if the driver could pick us up earlier and they said no problem; in fact the driver still arrived over half an hour early at our hotel. At the end of the night, the driver even helped us carry presents from the bus to my mom's car! I highly recommend them, especially since the price was great if you need to transport a lot of people.

First Unitarian is a beautiful church located in Shadyside. The architecture is stunning. They allow non-members to hold wedding ceremonies there, which was pertinent to us, and also allow unions for non-traditional couples. There are no counseling requirements, they only ask that you attend one of their services.
The wedding coordinator there works offsite, so it is difficult to get a hold of her at first, but she will give you her home number so it is easier to reach her. She is an older lady, so she isn't exactly energetic, but she does know what she is doing.
The ceremony went very smoothly and we are quite happy with the location. The only drawback of First Unitarian is that they do not have any parking, there is on-street parking available, which can be difficult in Shadyside, but the school across the street usually have their driveways available for parking as well.
We chose a package that included two photographers for our wedding. The package was an excellent value and included an engagement session, and a disc of all our photos. We received over 1500 beautiful photos on disc just two weeks after the wedding. We have received many, many compliments on our photos, and we could not be more pleased with the final product.
Yos is very professional, and very friendly and fun to be around. He was so easy to work with. He and the other photographer, plus an assistant, were all over the place taking pictures but did not disrupt any of the action or get in anyone's way. We definitely recommend Yos Photo!
