I need pretty centerpieces for my wedding, and I cam getting everything I need at Michael's. I am a fairly crafty individual, but even if you're not, find someone who is or ask a clerk at Michael's. You'll save so much if you can get your supplies there. I've seen some places that charge $25 for a floating candle in a bowl and you can do that for $5-$10. Even if you have the money, don't waste it if you can do some things yourself.

They have a very nice hall that fits 265 people, and for Houston, the price is nice if you are on a budjet. They provide tables and chairs, a projector and screen, hookups for a DJ, and an area for the carering company to prepare food. The only thing is that you can't put anything on the walls, there is a strict alcohol policy (if you're big on alcohol), and you have to be out by 4pm on Saturdays so this would only work for a lunch reception if you have your wedding on a Saturday.

They have very nice linens, a variety of colours and at affordable prices. I am renting my tablecloths and napkins from there.

They have very nice dresses in pretty colours, but they run a little expensive and they also run small. I know girls who are usually a size 2 and had to wear a size 6. This can be a little demoralizing.
