This site was one of those that I could not have managed without. The address book not only automatically generated labels, but also had a page marking if you had sent thank you notes for what gifts. It had a budget planner and ideas for do-it-yourself projects. And I love how it automatically renewed into The Nest.com for after the wedding, automatically transferring your address book over from site to site!

The setting was simple and clean, no fuss, just a few flowers. The church was decorated for Christmas, and with a few bows and ribbons along the aisles we were able to decorate with ease. All of our guests fit into the church seating and the ceremony went incredibly smoothly. As if one would ever expect otherwise!

We sent out around 200 invitations. Since we were on a relatively small budget we decided to do the invitations ourselves. We picked up the boxes of invitations at our local Walmart and simply read the instructions and it was as simple as that. Nothing fancy or complicated, but exactly what we needed.

Our guests and wedding party stayed at this hotel for two days. It was brand new and had an indoor pool that they just loved. My new husband and I stayed here for our wedding night as well. It had a lovely Jacuzzi tub in some of the rooms and the staff were wonderfully polite to all of our guests.

We went with beautiful red roses that matched our colors (of red and green) perfectly. We called ahead to order the flowers and drove down to pick them up. The quality was wonderful, much better than we had hoped for at last minute. The flowers went into our bouquets and table arrangements. The price was extremely fair considering we would have paid at least twice that amount from a florist.

This was probably the most hassle. A few tuxedos were sent to the wrong site, some were never ordered at all, and the ones that were came in either the wrong size or the wrong color. The associates at many different stores (across the country) were not helpful at all, though there were one or two that finally sorted out the mess. One would think that for the money spent, the store would want to make sure that their customers were happy, but this did not occur at all. However, I would like to point out that once sorted out, the guys all looked fantastic. The look of the tux was spot on, though the same could not be said for the service.

Our rehearsal dinner was very low key, and since we had such a large wedding party + family, we decided to do it up at the local bbq joint. To this day I still get compliments and oohs and ahhs over the dinner we had that night. Informal? Yes. Messy? You betcha. Delicious? Out of this world!

We had a bridal party of 6, not including myself. The ladies at Hair&Co were amazing. The lengths and textures of everyone's hair was of course different, but they all turned out wonderfully elegant and coiffed. We arrived at 8 and were done in plenty of time for the wedding at 1, unusual for such a large party. Makeup was done at the shop too and the ladies were very willing to listen to our own thoughts on how we wanted our hair.

This was a gift from my new in-laws. It was an all-inclusive resort stay right across from the beach. We had our own cabin and the resort itself was lush and beautiful, yet still private. All meals were provided as well as drinks. The food was fantastic as was the service. There just aren't words to describe how wonderful our honeymoon was here.

I had the waist of my gown taken up to the empire style which required a bit of creativity on the part of the people doing the alterations. It looked wonderful when it was completed and looked like it had been originally made that way.
