This place, in Port St. Lucie of Florida, is smaller, but they have a good variety. The woman who owns the place has a knack for knowing what will look good on you. Wow - she was amazing. she really helped me find the dresses that looked good on me - ones that I avoided pulling from the racks, because my initial thought was I didn't like it. But because she knew what would look good, I found a beautiful dress!
The downside for this place is their "no picture" policy. This policy irritates me because my family is 1500 miles away. I want to take pictures so I can share with my mom and sister, because of course, I value their opinion and they are candid with me. The woman told me the only way I could take pictures is if I was serious and put down a deposit. How could that be helpful to me? If there is one dress I like, and I take a picture and share it with my mom, and they say I look bad, well then I'm out the deposit! Not fair to me.
I did not buy a dress from here because again I couldn't share any pictures with my mom and sister.

I went to this bridal shop to look for my wedding gown. They have a huge selection which I appreciate. Their prices are moderate, with some dresses that are very inexpensive. My view of them however is a little unprofessional and not as nice as other places. Here's why. For one, they don't have "clips" when you try on dresses. Other shops have "clips" in case you're trying on a too big of dress. It's hard to get an idea of what the dress would look like when it's not clamped or fitted to your body.
I liked that they allowed me to take photos. I think taking photos of the dress is very helpful, since I could load them on my computer and really get a feel for the dress and how it would look. There are some dresses I thought I loved at the shop, but when I looked at the pictures from different angles, I realized it made me look bad or did not accentuate my body.
Another downside from this place was when I walked in with my mom and sister, it took them a long time to say hello or even greet me professionally. I was ready to leave at that point. Come on, I'm about to spend $1000+ dollars and this is the greeting I get?
Lastly, the one girl who was helping me was not helpful at all. She didn't really give good feedback. She didn't really help point me in the direction of what would look good, etc. She went on lunch break and another girl came to help. Now, I was happy she did because she was so much better. She was really candid, helpful and helped point me to dresses that would look good.

I did not buy my dress from this shop, but did shop here. It's small with not as many choices. I was a little upset when they told me I couldn't take pictures, since my mom and sister live 1500 miles away from me. I wanted to try on a few gowns and email them pictures to help me choose. They said they don't allow pictures in case someone takes the picture to have a seamstress make the gown. That was certainly not my intention, and I do understand their position, but if they want my business, they should have allowed me to take a photo. The woman who helped me was very nice, though. She was helpful, especially when trying on the dress and professional. The other problem I think is that they cut out the "brands" of the dress and put in their own label. I've read "how to guides" about buying bridal gowns, and it always says to be weary of buying from places that do this. You don't get a warm fuzzy feeling when at this bridal shop.

After you taste a cake by the Sugar Chef, you will instantly know the difference between a good cake and the BEST CAKE. Sugar Chef changed my view of cakes after just one bite. I love icing and cakes and thought Publix had good cakes...that was until Sugar Chef. Fresh, fresh, fresh ingredients. Light, fluffy icing. Scrumptious and moist cake. Delectable flavors. Beautiful designs. With other bakers, they use box mixes and "fake" ingredients. Sugar Chef uses all natural, made from scratch ingredients, and the difference is immense. The frosting/icing is my favorite part. Usually I get sick after eating too much icing or cake because it's SO sweet. However, with Sugar Chef, it's just about right - not too sweet. The icing is amazing...light and fluffy, the perfect flavor. You can't ask for a better cake. I'll never order from another baker again.
