Honeyfund is a free honeymoon registry, easy to use, the downfall is that when people give you money online through Paypal, you may get charged a transaction fee depending on the type of Paypal account you have.

Crate and Barrel was so easy, but their prices on some of the same stuff that was Target (my other registry) was way more expensive, but returns were hassle-free and given as a cash refund.

I registered online at Target and thought I was smart by registering at a place that I go to buy a lot of stuff normally. Target is a complete mess, it was extremely difficult to return any gift that was mailed to the house, the customer service counter reps are retards, online stuff became out of stock before I could order missing matching registry requests. Plus, they only give you store credit for returns.

I ordered a 3 tier cake in 3 different flavors. For 150 ppl, it was $200 with a $50 delivery charge(since they were so far from my reception site). All my guests raved about the cake, they were actually ‘taking’ seconds from other tables, so some people came back to empty tables with no cake! They speak decent English, showed up on time, and were able to create my simple, elegant cake based on a picture.

Note: My florist (Judy Anne Flowers) decorated the cake with the orchids.

I went to Valerie’s cute little studio for my trial and was really pleased that she listened to my desired look and carried out the desired effect perfectly. Valerie and her assistant came to my hotel on the day of the wedding on time and beautified, me, 4 BM, and my mother flawlessly. I still was debating which hairstyle I wanted on the day of the wedding, but she went with it and I was extremely satisfied with the result. She is super affordable and extremely nice, highly recommended!

Rev. Bob Schneider was another find online. He is so professional and organized. Pre-wedding coordination was easy and his service at our wedding was short, sweet, and beautiful as requested. I highly recommend him based on price, demeanor, and responsiveness.

The contact, Margaret, is so detail oriented and prompt in communication. Pre-planning coordination was easy and their execution at the wedding was perfect. The group was dressed in formal attire and played professionally on cue during the pre-ceremony through the cocktail hour. They are affordable compared to other quartets but their price doesn’t reflect their exceptional value. Margaret even sent a personal thank you card after the wedding.

Aki and his partner were completely professional throughout the night. Pre-wedding coordination was a breeze and my DH loved Aki’s demeanor right away. We wanted an old school Rat Pack type feel during the dinner and Aki met all our expectations in creating that environment with the perfect choice of music. People loved his centerpiece giveaway game and danced all night to his choice of music that brought people of all ages to the dance floor. Per our requests, he played the perfect old school hip hop music that made everyone go wild! He has comparable rates to other DJs, but I think his service puts him over the rest.

I took my dress to this tiny shop in the heart of Little Saigon and was so pleased with the result. I didn’t have a problem not being Vietnamese and being able to communicate because the seamstress spoke decent English. I just had my bust line tightened, and a single bustle sewn. They were done within a week and only cost me $40. I thought this was extremely reasonable given that my dress has extensive beading.

I got all 6 of my BM dresses here for $14 each from their original price of $300. They were brand new, not returns or irregulars. They are dresses from their normal boutique stores sent to the company store after the new season dresses arrive. I bought my ‘winter’ color dresses in Feb for perfect timing in Dec. The store is nothing to rave about, an open room in the back serves as their dressing room, service was bleh, but the dresses were stunning!
