It was really important for us to hire someone who wasn't going to shoot the standard "pose and say cheese" portraits. We wanted our photographer to capture all of the details of the day - both big and little. A creative, photojournalistic style was also at the top of our list. There are a ton of photographers out there (believe me, we looked!) who will take perfectly fine pictures but few really capture the spirit of the day. Ashley delivered on all levels and much more. Her style is fresh and modern but she doesn't overlook the subtle, romantic and super evocative details - a fleeting expression, the lovely detail of a dress, or an intimate exchange of emotion. We were so pleased with our images. She was professional, cool under pressure, courteous and accommodating. I'd highly recommend.
