In every contact I had with fiftyflowers, I stressed that my bride wanted a truly white rose. They offer two categories: white and ivory. I asked them for their whitest rose and initially, on their recommendation, ordered Jeanne Moreau. One week before shipping, they notified me of a crop failure, so again, I asked repeatedly for their whitest rose. I was given a choice between Eskimo and Anastasia....the farm assured them both were true white. I chose Anastasia.
When the flowers arrived, Anastasia was yellow. An absolutely gorgeous rose, but far from white. I called fiftyflowers and was reassured that they would get whiter as they opened. I removed all the guard panels and let them open fully. They never got anywhere near white. They were true ivory and I had to discard all the white ribbon I planned to use. The contrast flower, a purple and white lisanthus had to be used very sparingly, as the contrast between the white and ivory was too glaring. The bride was very disappointed.
When I contacted them and sent pictures, there response was, even though they boast on their website of "climate controlled conditions" that weather had changed the color. I was offered 10% off my next order. There will be no next order, despite the fact that I have been asked to do flowers for friends in the future.

Edited to add: Fiftyflowers has replied to this review but they were not truthful. I called them the day the flowers came to report the problem, as noted in the original review. I did not contact them the day of the wedding...who has time for that and what would have been the point? Personally, truthfulness matters to me. I'm going to take a star off my review because of that.
