Overall, my experience with Half Moon Bay Golf Links was positive. I would recommend working with a wedding planner, if you do have your wedding there. I feel that my "negatives" would have been taken care of if I had a wedding planner.

Positives:
- Breathtaking Location (this is priceless)
- Delicious food
- Friendly staff
- Wonderful price for the location (Fraction of the cost of the Ritz)
- The photo opportunities (the HMBGL rep that took us around with our photographer was wonderful)
- Wedding day was wonderful

Negatives:
- The HMBGL representative did not show up to run our rehearsal, as a result our pastor had to take over and run it.
- Difficult to get a hold of, poor response time
- Business aspects, didn't follow a strict guideline or procedures. This caused communication error among the staff.

I used Inspiration Floral as my florist for my wedding. Being a DIY bride I was hesitant to hand over the floral duty. I had a mixed experience with this vendor.

Positives:
- Flowers were beautiful
- Flowers were fresh
- Flowers arrived on the wedding day on time and were placed where they needed to be

Negatives:
- The florist misquoted me a price due to her error in an excel document. I did not notice until a couple weeks prior to the wedding. Being the honest person that I am, I brought it to her attention. I was willing to meet her in the middle for the difference, which I feel was more than reasonable. Instead of working with me, she ripped up the page and told me I owed her the new amount above the contract. In order to keep to my budget, I had to cut the number of center pieces in half, with only a couple weeks before the wedding. If you do work with this vendor double check all of your numbers and paperwork, because the business side of it is not up to par.

After a couple cake tastings, my husband and I decided that cake wasn't the way we wanted to go. After much thought and trying different desserts we decided to go with Apple Pie and vanilla ice cream. We bought the apple pies from costco and they were wonderful. We purchased the vanilla ice cream from a local creamery. We saved a ton of money and the guests loved it! It was unique and delicious!!

Wendy is a fabulous artist! She was wonderful and flexible to work with. I recommend to her to everyone and I will continue to use her for future family portraits! Her photographs are beautiful, classic and touching! We are extremely happy with both our engagement and wedding photos! I cannot thank her enough for the gorgeous moments she captured on our wedding day!! Amazing quality at an amazing price!! Thank you!!!
