I loved this venue for our wedding!!! I was looking for a place that was beachy, not a hotel, and that we could use our own caterer at. The cottage totally fit the bill. Our guests loved the venue, and it looked amazing for the wedding. One thing I didn't like is that nothing is supplied so the additional costs did add up to more than we had hoped and it wasn't super cheap to rent in the first place (they took away the 15% but raised the rate). Also the hours were very restrictive. We couldn't start setting up until 1pm and the wedding was at 4 which meant that I couldn't be involved in the setup at all and the amount of diy I did meant that was hard to get everything set up the way I wanted without me being there. I would totally use the cottage again if I had to do it all over, but you need to be ok with the rules and restrictions. I had no monitor problems though. Our monitor was awesome, and other than the time he snuck in our photobooth (so funny) no one really knew he was there.

We got cake pops as a supplement for the cupcakes we were serving at our wedding. When all was said and done they were a bigger hit than the cupcakes. Mindy was great, and I am so happy that we decided to get them. They were super yummy and looked amazing. If you don't want the traditional cake thing I would definitely go with cake pops!!

Although I did not end up buying my dress here, I had a wonderful experience. The consultant that helped me was very nice and helpful. I was trying to stay around $1000 for my dress and I found quite a few beautiful options for about $1200. There were two dresses at the salon that I could have worn and been so happy with on my wedding day but I couldn't decide which one between the two. Ended up finding "the dress" at mon amie, but I felt that in my price range the wedding day had more selection and not once did I feel pressured or uncomfortable in any way.
