The wedding cake was a beautiful five tiered cake in a floating arrangement. Each tier was on its own pedestal with a beautiful scrolling design and real roses and gardenias on top of each cake. The cake also tasted great, we chose a simple white cake with a fruit filling mix that included mangoes and strawberries.

This place is a little jewel in the Monterey area. Comfy bungalows are set in sand dunes facing the ocean waves. Because the resort was a eco-friendly site, we parked our car in the front parking lot and drove around the resort in little golf carts. They have a lovely spa and sauna as well with a variety of options. The view from the balcony is amazing. The service was very friendly and attentive.
David's Bridal made it so convenient for bridesmaid dresses. I picked the color and the girls picked their own style of dresses which allowed them to show their own personalities and tastes. It also made the wedding pictures a lot more interesting with the different styles.

The dress was simply amazing. Beautiful antique silk and French lace, it was every girl's dream wedding dress. I loved the lightness and breathability of the fabric. Real silk is a definite difference and shows up amazing in pictures. Tara Keely bridal gowns are very romantic and sweet with a contemporary, young flair.

This is an exquisite little British tea parlor with a very authentic English countryside cottage atmosphere and high tea. With reservations set ahead of time, we were able to book the whole room to ourselves which was a treat.

This church has a very classic, slightly medieval gothic feel. It's a great place for a large wedding (500 to 700) or in our case, a reception banquet. The room was beautifully decorated by church attendees with draping of cloth, tulle, and Christmas lights. The food was quite amazing, since the church cooks were also restaurant chefs.

If you want a contemporary wedding with a lot of stage space and color, this is the right church for you. The church has a beautiful spacious sanctuary, with walls painted different colors: purple, sea green, yellow, peach, and orange. The stage is huge, at least 40 feet across with plenty of room for a band, flower displays, and a large bridal party. The only thing lacking is the limited parking. But for a wedding of 200, it should be okay.

Fionna did a great job in making alterations to my silk wedding dress, shortening the length, adding a corset to the back and a bustle. The prices were really fair and I also received a discount for the drycleaning. Fionna was so nice and friendly, being patient with my indecision and showing real interest in my explanations and expectations. I really appreciated the calm and friendly atmosphere that I found there!

They totally exceeded our expectations. The colors at our wedding were primarily red, gold, silver, pink, and cream. The flowers we chose were roses and they were beautifully put together in bouquets of pure red, fire and ice, and pink roses. I had huge white roses with a hint of blush for my bouquet and the men's boutonnieres were beautiful, huge single red roses. It's hard to explain, but the roses were very rich and velvety of amazing quality. We also commissioned two displays of flowers that were amazing, with a variety of roses, lilies, greens, etc. We also got flowers to honor our parents and these were beautifully and elegantly presented with an arrangement of roses and ribbons. We're very grateful and happy with their attention to detail and dedication to making our wedding so beautiful.
Jon was an amazing photographer with a very creative range--taking very sweet, deeply romantic photos to capturing those funny moments that you'd want to remember. Our wedding was in a colorful contemporary church with several hundred guests and a large bridal party (6 bridesmaids, 6 grooms, flower girls, etc). During the ceremony, Jon took pictures from numerous angles, at the foot of the stage, on the balcony, etc. He has a very good instinct for the flow of the wedding ceremony, capturing all the right moments at the right time, whether in an up close detailed photo or a wide angled picture capturing the magnitude of the moment. I appreciated his creative interpretation and perspective. We had Christmas lights for decoration and some of the lights had shorted out, but Jon was able to take pictures of us contrasting the darkness and brightness, so that we seemed to be framed with soft halos--his use of light was very good. He also captured the mood of the wedding well; we were having a lot of fun and there are a lot of smiley, laughter-filled photos. We also had a private photo shoot with Jon in between the wedding and the ceremony. Jon took a lot of classic, romantic photos as well as posing us in a way that depicted a story (girl meets boy, etc). As a person, Jon was very kind, supportive, and understanding. He has a very generous heart and is really able to see the wedding from an artist's point of view, and yet is so genuine in capturing the atmosphere. And also, he traveled from San Diego to be at our early afternoon wedding in Los Angeles, and showed no signs of fatigue, but was very energetic and happy, to which, we're very grateful.
