It's so cramped in there! You can't hardly see the dresses, much less try anything on. It's not worth visiting in my opinion.

The consultants are friendly and helpful, even without an appointment. There is lots of space to spread out in the store, so even when it's busy you can have some quiet corner to yourself. My experience has been good overall with them; they will write down styles and designers that you like and mail you a note when new things you're interested in get to their store.

Only go if you've got Daddy's money-- this place is not cheap! Their gowns are chic and gorgeous, but you'll be paying for them. The sisters who run the place are very friendly and patient, but their products are for those with much larger budgets than mine.

Not so great. The consultants treat you like you're on their last nerve, especially when you want to try on several different styles. Make an appointment; at least then they're expecting you and maybe they won't treat you like you're ruining their day. Also, for my brother's wedding, they dyed the shoes all wrong to go with the maids dresses and the material for the dresses didn't take the dye evenly either. Not my favorite place to find a gown-- they're not even that much less expensive than the local boutiques.

I had an amazingly positive experience here. It was so personal; I was the only bride there (appointments only) and there was a private room for my guests and a separate room to try the gowns on. It was so nice not to be treated like a number like at some other places that I've been too (the chains). Their selection was great too-- not over the top prices which was also refreshing. Even the gowns with the most detail and beading that I tried on were around $900. And the consultant really listened to my preferences and found gowns that looked great on me that I wouldn't have thought to try on for myself. While I still haven't found "the one" (dress; I've definitely got my man)I would send my friends to The Perfect Dress in Fort Wayne in Jefferson (the cute little two-story Victorian house) in a heartbeat. Great dresses, reasonable prices, and awesome service!
