Blackhawk Automotive Museum was the most expensive out of the top three that we looked at for our reception but you definitely get what you pay for here! The staff is very friendly and helpful; and you can pop in and view the museum's gallery if you tell them you are planning for a wedding. But in order to get the full tour and pricing, schedule an appointment with Mickey and he'll be happy to walk you through how wedding events are done at Blackhawk. I liked that it wasn't a typical windowless hotel ballroom, and my fiance is really into cars so it is truly a unique venue.
Their exclusive caterer is Scott's based in Walnut Creek, so take advantage of the tasting luncheon, too! We loved the food that we tried and Beverly from Scott's was also very helpful in creating our menu.
