Lisa was absolutely one of our fav vendors and best "investments" for our wedding! We couldn't have trusted a better person to be our DOC. From the weeks leading up to the big day, to the actual day itself, she had provided a tremendous amount of invaluable help that enabled us to have the wedding we dreamed of, stress-free style :-D.

Like the other girls said, you can never tell Lisa is "new" to the business. Our wedding size was on the smaller side but the amount of our details was anything but. And being the slightly "anal" bride I was, which included having to have the favors, the order of throw pillows on the lounge sofas, down to the votives on the tables (and much more) placed *just* a certain way, Lisa's attention to details handled my "challenges" and executed our vision with no sweat. We also had more vendors than usual as we had hired companies to provide lighting and pipe and draping, lounge furniture, as well as special centerpiece candelabras. That was a lot of extra arrangements to keep track for my poor DOC! But Lisa’s a natural born wedding planner and never missed a beat.

At our initial meeting she asked all the good questions so to understand the many details of the upcoming big day. In the weeks leading up, she looked over our vendor contracts and contacted them to confirm all the arrangements. She maintained close communications with us throughout this entire time, was always prompt with her responses and handled all aspects like a seasoned pro. When I had to make a few final changes to our floor plan, it was truly impressive to see how effortless it seemed for her to stay on top and remember all the different changes I threw her way. When I was stuck on figuring out how to divide our photographer's time before the ceremony, she saved me tons of headaches by suggesting the perfect solution. On the big day when my florist realized the hanging orchid strands for the ceiling didn't work like she had originally thought, Lisa, with her FABULOUS taste she's famous for, came up with an alternative solution without compromising A BIT the look I was going for... all while without worrying me for a sec.

Because of her, my groom and I, as well as our bridal party and families, were all able to truly enjoy the day without worrying about scrambling for “the next task” coming up.

All in all, Lisa is organized, super calm (AND calming), responsive, professional, and has impeccable taste. She genuinely cares about her clients and is passionate about what she does. I will always highly recommend her without the slightest hesitation.

I love the famous bracelet from MrsReemAvenue, but wanted something slightly smaller. They had other beautiful bracelets, but my eyes were caught by this piece on one of the necklaces which I liked even more. So Nicole worked with me to have it custom design into a bracelet for me. I love it! The size is perfect. Tons of sparkle. Very happy with how it turned out. And Nicole was great to work with.

One of the most hassle free wedding vendor experiences I've ever had. Rick was extremely easy to work with. You can buy directly from his website or over the phone, or through an EBay store. It's slightly cheaper to buy directly from his website since he doesn't have to pay his Ebay fee. I bought 30 pashminas from him after getting some recommendations from the girls on the NorCal Board. I filled out the order form on his website. He then emailed an invoice to me in less than 20 minutes later. I called back to make the purchase over the phone (my own preference when it comes to giving out credit card number). He then sent me a confirmation of purchase. Essentially my whole order was received, processed, and shipped out to me all in less than 24 hours. And this guy is in Canada. I received the shipment also many days earlier than I expected. The pashminas are great. The price cannot be beat. I would highly recommend him without any reservations. There should be more vendors like this one!

I bought a pair of chandelier earrings from Regina B for my wedding day. I dealt with Regina herself over the phone and through email since they didn't have an authorized reseller in Nor CAL. I asked quite a few questions, and since you can customize your design, I was considering having earrings custom made for me by combining two existing designs. Throughout the whole process she was helpful, patient, and prompt in responding and sending me photos through emails. At the end I scratched that idea and ended up going with an existing design. No problem with her whatsoever. I received the earrings in about 2.5 weeks (not bad at all considering it typically can take 4 weeks), arriving on the exact estimated date just as she promised. Oh, she also doesn't run your credit card until your item is shipped, which I thought was nice. Overall very satisfied with the experience. And the earrings are GORGEOUS! I would purchase from her again.

This is a beautiful boutique in Los Gatos. They carry high end brands such as Vera Wang, Ines De Santo, Bonaparte, Melissa Sweet and etc. I went there twice and almost bought my gown there (but ended up finding The One at Bridal Galleria in SF). I had a very good experience at Gabrielle's. Gabrielle herself helped me with my appointments. She was very patient and nice. I felt bad I ended up not purchasing the *almost-was* gown (Melissa Sweet Lia) because she was just quite a sweetheart. This was one of the VERY few salons out of the 10 I went to where I was actually given a hand held mirror so I could see the back of the dresses too. Unbelievable how few salons did that. Gabrielle started this business after being a bride herself not too long ago. So she really knows how to relate. I'd recommend this place for good service and beautiful gowns.

(My dress hasn't arrived. So this is a review on my experience so far.)

I bought my dress there, when they had an Alvina Valenta trunks show. I've read some bad reviews on this place, but I personally LOVED my experience with them. I worked with Shonna, who was very very sweet, genuine, patient, and knowledgeable. I LOVED her! I did have to wait around for a few minutes in between some of the dresses because it was a trunk show and there were quite a few customers. So sometimes I had to wait for another bride to be done w/a dress. I think this was more the featured designer company's "fault" since they were the one providing the show's inventory and there was only one sample for each design.

I found my fabulous dress that day, *tears*, but needed some time to think about my decision. So they gave me till the next day to make the purchase. Shonna told me I didn't need an appt if I decided to go back, so the next day I just showed up, and was able to get serviced pretty much immediately. The lady who took the measurements and processed the transaction and paperwork was also quite pleasant and helpful. Oh, I didn't have any problems with their dress rooms, I actually thought they were quite spacious (more so than most of the salons I visited) and clean. Since it seems to get mixed reviews, if you go there I'd recommend you to ask for Shonna.

I enjoyed my visit to Amy Kuschel. The salon is spacious and airy. It has a "couture" feel withOUT the snobbiness. So you feel like "wow, I'm in a DESIGNER's space" once you set foot in there. The staff is very professional and friendly. The girl who helped me was so nice, sweet and patient. It was one of the best services I've received from bridal salons (and I visited about 10). The collection may not be as extensive since they only carry their own designs, but I thought their dresses were beautiful and well made. Plus the fact that it's custom made to your measurements can really make any girl feel extra special. I highly recommend this place.

*Update (March 17)*

I just received in the mail today swatches of the colors I had listed as "potentials" on the information sheet which I filled out at the end of my visit last weekend. They mailed these swatches to me without me asking, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise and a nice touch. Thumbs up for that.

I was just there with my MOH this past Sat. It's a very cute place with a good selection of great brands such as Jenny Yoo. I do have to say the place was a bit crammed, including the dressing "rooms" (not really rooms but more like sections w/drapes). I had the room closest to the door which was left open. And the wind kept pushing the drape onto me in the already small room while I was trying on dresses, so a little inconvenient. The lady was nice, but she wasn't very good w/clipping so the dresses felt like they were going to fall off. I would go back again though if I had to do it over again mainly for the collections (They are the only Jenny Yoo supplier here).
