The price is pretty reasonable and we got everything on time, so no complaints there.

But they have the worse customer service ever. The high school kids that they employ were rude and made various sarcastic comments. Ever try being rude and sarcastic to a bride who is getting married in less then 3 days? Good luck to you!

Anyways, I guess you shouldn't expect much from these chain stores in terms of customer service but their prices are reasonable. So grin it and bear it.

Porto has the best red velet cake ever. I had many tastings at other bakeries but Porto's Bakery had the best one. I tend to go with just plain vanilla cake but after having the red velet, I would love to eat that everyday (I wish!).

The chocolate on the other hand had a very plain out of the box taste. I did not like it at all. Many people commented on how much better the red velet tasted and I agree.

Can't wait to go back and get me some more red velet cake!

Kelly did my makeup for a wedding I was in.

I heard many good reviews about her on this website as well as many others so I was super excited for her to do my makeup.

I asked for a more nature look but she used darker colors and by the time she was done, I just went with it because hey its not my day, so who cares if my makeup is not the best, its all about the bride right?

What really got me was what many of the previous posters mentioned, I noticed the bobby pins were flying out of the other bridesmaids hairs and it was scattered on the floor. I am not talking one or two bobby pins, but enough to the point where my hair was falling out in 30 minutes and I had to find ways to keep my hair in place throughout the entire day.

Then about 3 hours after my makeup was done, my fake eyelashes were falling off. I had to scramble to find the nearest store that sold eyelash glue since I didn't know the area I was in. I was surprise that she didn't even leave a little touch up kit just in case.

Overall, if I am a bride, the last thing I want to worry about is bobby pins flying everywhere and my eyelashes falling out. Maybe she is more careful on brides?
