Well I wasn't going to say anything but when you are looking to spend close to 10k on a dress for the most important day of your life you want to be treated with decency and respect. I went to Monique Lhullier with one of my bridesmaids and was absolutley in love with the dresses but not with the treatment of the staff. 4 consultants looked at us and never acknowledged that we were standing there. The after being brushed off for the 3rd time I randomly walked over to the only consultant that smiled at me. Funny thing is, I was dressed in a beautful chiffon dress and my bridesmaid as well so they could not have been thrown off by appearance. The consultant helped me tremendously and I was very happy with the dress I found but then the internal battle began. Could I pay 7k for a dress in a bridal salon where the staff did not acknowledge my existence? Answer? No... I told the consultant that although I appreciated her effort my bridal experiance was ruined by the initial treatment of her staff.. Did I mention that when I went there I waited 20 minutes before so much as a hello. Come to find out the consultant was a manager and she was very apologetic. It is sad that even in 2009 customer service skills are still a rare find. Shame on Monique Lhuillier for employing people that act this way I hope that they are able to get better staff and better treatment for their clients.
