Greg is a bit of an old school DJ and even though I asked him to play some more modern dinner music he didn't. When I went up to him during dinner and asked him to change the music he replied that he would when he was finished eating. I was upset by this. During our pre-wedding meetings I asked him to play a couple of techno songs at the end of the evening and he argued with me about it. He told me that "nothing clears a dance floor like techno". He did play some techno but one of the songs was at the beginning of the evening and out of place. He did an acceptable job of announcing the wedding party. The music he played throughout the dancing portion of the evening was ok but I wish he would have done a better job at making the music selections flow better.

Wow, talk about the perfect setting after having planned like mad for so many months! We went with the butler package and it was worth EVERY penny. They were running a special when we booked, so I would definitely inquire about their specials. We had anything we wanted at our dial of a telephone at all hours of the day. The butlers drew bubble baths for us, brought us lunch poolside and had breakfast on our porch as often as we wanted. I would 100% recommend an all-inclusive. Our biggest worry the entire 10 days was where we were going to eat for dinner! It was so relaxing and romantic. You could be social or be totally secluded, whatever you wanted for the day! It was wonderful having 2 other Sandals resorts on the island that were also at your disposal. Some of the food was mediocre but most of it was just delicious!

If you love cake you must get your wedding cake from Oakmont Bakery. I have had every birthday cake of my life from Oakmont so there is sentimental value there, I will admit. They truly make delicious cake and decorate it beautifully. They delivered the cake with ease. They were very open to any design I wanted on the cake and were very accommodating. They let me decide at the last minute how I wanted to decorate the cake. The florist forgot the flowers on the cake and they helped to pin the florist down to get some flowers and they decorated it gorgeously with what was at their disposal!

The Lemont overlooks the skyline and 3 rivers in Pittsburgh. It is a very decadent space that only requires minimal decoration because it is already so beautiful. The rooms that they have for receptions are a great space for weddings of about 200 people for a sit down dinner. Their food is amazing and they have great choices. They are a 5 diamond restaurant and always get great reviews. They do not charge a facility fee and allow you to do by the drink beverages. They banquet manager was easily accessible and very helpful but is open to do anything you want. They let you bring in a cake from anywhere. They ensured that the day ran smoothly.

Cheyenne and Geoff are totally amazing. They truly captured the moment of the day and gave us memories in photographic form. Everytime I look at our pictures I tear up because it makes me feel like I am back in that day. Our album is amazing. It has a hard plexiglass cover with a picture under it that just rocks my world! They captured so many great photos of the day when people didn't even know they were taking a picture. there is so much emotion captured in the images. They have an artistic flare to their images but were more than willing to do the traditional photos as well! Their website is very user friendly and was great to show our friends our pictures on! I would recommend them to everyone!

MLUMC was a wonderful place to have our ceremony. The only draw back is that they DO NOT have air conditioning. It was very hot the day of our wedding (95 degrees) and our guests were very uncomfortable but the church is beautiful. It is a traditional appearing church with beautiful blue, purple, and red stainless glass from the floor to the ceiling. There are gorgeous dark wood pews with a center aisle. The "getting ready" area was air conditioned but was not a pretty space which affected our getting ready pictures. They have a wonderful lady who organizes everything for the ceremony. She has been doing it for 30 years and is truly a pro! She will help you think of things that you didn't know you needed to think about! I would highly recommend MLUMC for your ceremony.....just not when it's hot!

Howard at the Karat Patch was a great help. He was available at a variety of times of the day and was always accommodating to our schedule. I helped pick out my engagement ring, which was very fun, and Howard let me bring in a friend (or two) to look at the ring with me. He definitely allowed me to enjoy the experience. He also met with me and Matt on multiple occasions. They have beautiful settings and a wide variety to choose from. I am not sure what their price points are. Their service is impeccable and I would highly recommend them!

The Black Eyed Susan had the most helpful employees. The lady that helped me was just great! She let me call with many questions and helped me to decide on the look of the invitation. They had great prices because the Concord store was going out of business. Their Huntersville location is still open and is under the same ownership, just with different employees. I would highly recommend them because they have a great selection and a wide variety of price points. They also have some great ideas for wedding party gifts at reasonable prices. They were one of the most helpful vendors that I used.

The wedding mall was a bit tacky in appearance but they have a tremendous selection. They have the largest selection of bridesmaids dresses that I found anywhere. The prices are also the best that I could find. You are left to your own to look through all of the dresses as the sales folks weren't that helpful. They were very helpful with the ordering process though. All of my bridesmaids were out of town and there was not one issue with ordering and shipping the dresses to them. I was very specific with the fabric that I wanted the girls dresses...dupioni silk. I found it for the least expensive at the wedding mall. I even compared them to online prices and they couldn't be beat!

They were very difficult to get an appt with. The sales woman that helped me was very helpful but also very gruff. When I finally decided on the dress they ordered it and they decided which length would be correct. When the dress finally came in it was too short. I was devastated. They tried to blame me for not having had my shoes when we ordered my dress, despite the fact that I had asked about this when they measured me for the length. When they were measuring the length they told me I could just pick shoes once the dress arrived. They tailored the dress so that it was the correct length but I had a very difficult time finding shoes because I was very limited in heel length. The dress was gorgeous but I was very perplexed and had many tearful nights over the fact that they ordered the dress too short.
