We rented a classic car instead of a limo. It was a 1957 Thunderbird and it was TOTALLY worth it. The interior was white and the exterior was baby blue and white and in imaculate condition. Mr Skeard was a great driver and could not have been nicer.

$100 was just for the hall rental. The hall was a hall and hard to decorate. Nothing special. I'm glad the lights were low. It would have been nicer to have the reception in a hotel because it took a long time for the tables to be cleaned and the dance floor to be ready.

we did our own invitations which were purchased from a craft store - Michael's. It took a few tries before they turned out ok but for $50 we got just under 200 usable invitations that looked professionally done.

My girls bought their own dresses and decided on the colour. They wore black as no one lived in the same city and it would have been harder to match colours otherwise.

I asked a Mary Kay representative for a make up lesson with my girls. Samples were provided, she showed us how to apply the make up and did different looks for us until we were all satisfied. It only cost me $16 because I actually purchased some eye liner. No pressure to buy products and we didn't have to pay someone an outrageous fee to do our make up on the big day because we did it ourselves. We looked amazing.
