I had a lot of stress after we chose Memory Makers. I couldn't find anyone that had used them, so I really didn't have much to go by. My worries were unfounded, as Guy did a great job and exactly what we wanted. We didn't want anyone really 'high energy' or cheesy, and he fit the bill perfectly. I can't comment on the pianist b/c I really didn't hear or see him/her during the cocktail hr. The package was a steal for 4 hrs DJ and 1 hr musician during the cocktail hr.

We were very happy with the flowers. They were extremely reasonable compared to other quotes we got, and I LOVED my centerpieces, they were so pretty and different. My bouquet seemed a little smaller than I had expected, but I was kind of glad it wasn't as big as I thought after awhile, it was heavy!

I cannot say enough about Santos. Our 2 drivers, Marla and Lou, were absolutely wonderful. Marla picked us up in a 10 passenger Chrysler 300 at my parent's house to bring us to the church and she hustled getting everyone and everything in the car, after having patiently waited for us to be ready. When I was leaving the house I fell down the last stair and I swear she sprinted up the driveway to come help me even though my 2 BM's were there too. She helped us all into the limo and out. She was a sweetheart. Lou, the driver of the Rolls that met us at the church was just as great. Both he and Marla went into the church with me, helped with my dress, calmed me down (I was a mess leading up to the ceremony, oh boy was I), and made me smile. Then afterwards they did a great job of moving stuff from limo to my FIL's car, and then at the Brownstone, unloading everything and getting everything inside. I'm sure there is a ton more I could say, but let's leave it at they were GREAT.

Basically all I said about Michelle above can be said about Virginia. She did such a great job. I had had a trial with her and after awhile that night I decided I didn't like a couple of things the way they came out. I told her that day that I wanted my skin more natural, and she nailed it. DH LOVED the way my makeup came out (he loved the hair too, but he was worried about the makeup being too 'much'). Virginia is also very affordable, and is the sweetest. Book her if you can.

Michelle did a FANTASTIC job. Everyone had pictures, some girls 2 or 3, and wanted different things from each picture incorporated into their hairdo. Michelle replicated it perfectly. Everyone looked gorgeous and was so happy with the way their hair turned out. Besides me, 2 of my bridesmaids got 1/2 up 1/2 down, my MOH got an updo, and the 2 mothers got blowouts. She arrived a little after 10 and we were done by maybe 1:30'ish? I've kind of blacked out a couple of hours of the wedding day, LOL. If you can get Michelle for your wedding day, don't hesitate, she is awesome.

I cannot say enough about my experience at Park Ave. From the moment we arrived until the dress was picked up, we were treated wonderfully. Andrea was our main sales person, but Patty also helped out along the way. Andrea is wonderful and felt like part of the family after awhile, after all the drama I had with someone in my bridal party, she was there the whole way along to smooth things over and not let the primadonna I am referring to get her way, LOL. Jasmine did alterations and she was meticulous, not stopping until everyone was satisfied. Patty did help me initially with picking out gowns, and the one that I went with is one I was like, nah, I don't want strapless. Well what they say is right, what you envision is not what you wind up buying! My gown was gorgeous (Maggie Sottero, Violetta), and I added on double spaghetti straps, which I am glad to have done b/c I didn't have to lift it up all night. The alterations wound up being reasonable b/c there were so many, esp. the charge for the bustle, b/c they did 4 different kinds of bustles to get all the detail on the train to show up properly (they only charged me for 1). The veil was pricy but it saved me hassle of finding it elsewhere so I just paid for it.
