I worked extensively with Amanda and her team starting at 9 months before my wedding. I hired ITN for full service wedding coordination and was not disappointed. Amanda was there to answer my many, many, MANY emails no matter how repetitive and OCD they were. She is such a creative person and really helped me with the visual aspect of my wedding. Everything looked gorgeous the day of! She helped me with vendors, attended meetings with me, emailed me design ideas, and was a pleasure to work with. During the wedding rehearsal, she kicked butt and made sure it ran smoothly and on time. The day of the wedding, she assisted with both the little (steam ironing my wedding dress) and big things (change of location for the cocktail ceremony due to the weather). I heard there were a few kinks that day but she handled it! I didn't find out about these issues until afterward the wedding which is EXACTLY what a planner should do--make sure you enjoy your special day and not sweat the small stuff! I definitely recommend Amanda!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Shutters and have no complaints. Zero. The Catering Manager, Michael, was thorough and professional from the day I met him to the wedding day. He was punctual at all meetings, great with correspondence, and answered my many, many, many questions. On the day of the wedding he was standing by making sure everything ran smoothly. Yes, it is a pricey venue but very well worth it. The food was delicious and guests told me it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, which was wonderful to hear because I'm a complete foodie. Shutters also gave us a gorgeous suite the night of our wedding, which was decorated quite nicely with candlelight and plates of food after we returned from the reception. A very nice touch and definitely set the mood for a romantic evening. Their flat-rate price does include taxes, gratuity, cake, open bar, etc. which actually added up to being less expensive than other venues we researched. They did give our guests a block of rooms at a less expensive rate on room rentals. I have nothing but good things to say about Shutters and Michael!
I researched, I mean REALLY researched, the perfect wedding photographer for us. I interviewed several and although many of them were talented, Amelia Lyon truly stood out among the others.
At our initial meeting, she brought sample photo albums and explained in detail what to expect. Both my planner and I were in awe of her professionalism! Amelia also provided us with a specific contract that outlined what we'd be receiving with each of her packages. She sold me at this point, as some of the other vendors I'd encountered could barely return my emails. But Amelia definitely wasn't a rookie--she was polished and prepared throughout the whole process.
We then shot an engagement session with her a few months later. My husband is not much of a "picture person." Amelia did everything she could to put him at ease. He was tough! Eventually she won him over and he even admitted that her great personality made him more comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of the wedding, her and Justin (her husband/2nd shooter who was equally talented and just as personable) were so great to work with. They were on time, ready to shoot and captured all the special moments on our big day. I was a little disappointed that the weather wasn't in our favor (we had an outdoor ceremony) and that little things didn't go as planned. But I really had faith in Amelia and knew she would take care of everything photography-related. I knew that our pictures would end up gorgeous no matter what! And they did! Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out so unique and amazing.
Amelia is located in Fullerton, California. So to any brides in this area, definitely give her a call!

I agree with some of the reviewers on this page. Although Cathy's work is beautiful and she's obviously very talented, it'd be advantageous for her to brush up on communicating with her clients in a timely manner and meeting deadlines.
I hired Love At First Invite/Cathy to create my wedding invitations and a one-page enclosure. Someone recommended her ready made designs and I quickly fell in love with them. I wasn't too picky about my invitations and figured her turnaround time would be decent since they were ready made (we just changed the font and colors). The only other items we asked her to create was a simple enclosure asking guests to RSVP on our wedding website, and outer envelopes.
Although the finished product was quite lovely, I couldn't give her a higher rating because her communication was poor. I'd be left hanging for days wondering if she even received my emails. Also, she didn't get everything to us until 6 weeks before the wedding. (Admittedly, we hired her in January for a May wedding which was cutting it close). Our wedding planner gave her a deadline of 8 weeks before the wedding which Cathy didn't meet, so she had to rush getting our invitations mailed. It caused a bit of stress on my part and I was embarrassed when some of our guests commented that our invitations were going out so late.
I was initially going to use her services for my menus, programs and other stationery items but eventually decided against it. Again, I loved her work but can't recommend her as a vendor.

This company was very easy to work with and provided me with a great selection of chair and cushion colors. Everyone I spoke with at the company was very friendly and answered all my questions without any problems. Another good thing was that their pricing was very competitive. At first, I was hesitant to even rent these chairs as an upgrade. But they did make a difference (in my opinion) and helped enhanced the decor of the room.
Flowersonmars provided the lighting for my wedding. The uplights and pinspotting looked great and really added depth to the banquet room. I was very pleased with their responsiveness. My only complaint is that we had to go back and forth with the contract several times. They kept putting it under the wrong name despite my asking them numerous times to fix it (it's a legal document, after all). Otherwise, they were fast and pleasant to work with.

Carina is the best! She was very professional, made me look and feel beautiful, and provided a signed contract of her services. The last part surprised me because so many of the other makeup artists I interviewed did not provide one. They actually scoffed at my requirement of a signed contract, as if I should just trust they'd show up and I shouldn't worry about something so petty. On the day of my wedding, Carina called on her way to the venue and arrived about 15 minutes early (loved that!). She was extremely efficient and personable and came prepared with her own chair, etc. I loved the way she applied my makeup; she really listened to me and wanted to give me the exact look I was going for in terms of color and intensity. My bridesmaids and the Moms looked so fabulous with their makeup--we really loved how everyone looked in the pictures! I highly recommend Carina and Flawless Faces!

Kate Baker deserves 5-stars across the board. Her florals at my wedding were AMAZING and she was truly one of my favorite vendors to work with. Not only was she extremely sweet, but she was very easy to talk to and really listened to what I envisioned for my flowers. She worked within my budget and even gave me alternatives so I could see what was available in higher and lower price ranges. Her contract was very specific, where she outlined each type of flower to be used and where it would be set up. Kate was very creative and really "got it" when we discussed the style I was going for. When the big day finally arrived, my flowers were GORGEOUS! The canopy looked exactly how I envisioned and my bouquets popped with color. Even my guests, who couldn't care less about florals at a wedding, commented how pretty they were. I couldn't stop staring at my bouquet and wish Kate could whip up custom floral arrangements for my husband and I on a weekly basis :) I can't say enough good things about her! Thanks, Kate!

NancyKay's makes the best wedding cake ever, and I'm not just writing that because she made ours :) I've attended dozens of weddings and scheduled a few cake tastings before hiring Nancy. My husband and I loved that she was very friendly and really listened to what we were looking for in a cake design. She provided us with about 10 different samples of her wedding cake flavors and even packaged the leftovers in a take home container. It stayed moist and delicious for days thereafter! Nancy and I emailed back and forth regarding the design. She sent very detailed sketches of the cake, as well as her honest feedback as to what would and wouldn't "work." The end result was exactly what I wanted. I definitely want to have Nancy create another cake for us in the future!
We were looking to hire a quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I researched several in the area but found Organic String Quartet to suit our needs. Alicia was easy to talk to and provided us with an expansive music list. We had to move the location of our cocktail hour due to unforeseen circumstances, and I appreciated that they set up their instruments in two different locations without complaint. The music was beautiful and truly enhanced our big day. I was really pleased with Organic String Quartet!
