Stylish events, based in nyc primarily used in indian weddings, however after going to a friends wedding I HAD to use him...a little hard to get in touch with sometimes by phone(because we dealt with the owner only) but has never failed to produce amazing work. Prides himself in his work and is eager to branch out into non-india brides. He can give you bollywood extravagent or nyc simple chic.
We used orchids and roses for a very reasonable price.
His prices are very competitive for the quality and amount of flowers he puts into your centerpieces/bouquets. I don't know anyone that does orchids at the price he was offering. (medium rectanglar vase with phalaenopsis orchids and gel base for roughly ~40 dollars per vase)
He also willing to work with your budget.(see my pics) We had 20 tables, with alternating tall and short centerpieces. To save on money he:
-transferred small cube vases from the cocktail hour in our reception
-the topper from the tall reception piece was used to line the isle of our ceremony.
At my friend's wedding he discounted their centerpieces further because she returned the vases.
The most expensive piece was our ceremony "TREES". Which were branches that he made into 8ft tall twin trees decorated with orchid balls and glass/mirror ornaments. That cost us $1,400. Other florist had quoted double that price!

***long, but informative review****
PROS:
Location: waterfront, great views
Interior: chic, modern and classy
Staff: Amazing
Food: delicious, as they are a restaurantas well
CONS:
Price: standard manhattan prices but worth it (our evening wedding cost approx 180 per person during june)
Food: few issues with kitchen on the day of the wedding see below
Interior: The 2nd floor dining room is not the most spacious and divided into a dance floor and seating area , there is glass staircase off to one side that makes this division
OVERALL all the PROS outweighed any of the cons and we couldnt have been happier with our experience there. so 5/5 and highly recommended.
The price per person reflects a wedding during peak wedding season, on a Saturday evening. Our party was a little under 200 people, which was a comfortable number considering the space. This price does not include the permit for outdoor ceremony($1000) and the valet/parking lot fees.
Battery gardens on located in battery park on the water front, not too far from the liberty island ferry and the staten island ferry docks. It has beautiful views of the river and statue of liberty.
The decor is very chic and the food is EXCELLENT. The restaurant is run by small professional team and you are likely to meet the owner(alex) when you visit. We worked with Ilene Wolf, one of their event coordinators. She is wonderfully professional and is well experienced with weddings. She will make sure your day will runs smoothly. She worked with our wedding planner(if you do not have one, she and the maitre'd will basically take on that role for the day)
There were many minor disasters that day. From the rain, to the cake getting smashed on delivery, to the nightmare of a dj and the fish dish having to be changed; everything was handled amazingly well.
Our wedding was going to be an outdoor reception, on the waterfront, leading to the cocktail hour on the 1st floor and outside patio and finally followed by the reception in the 2nd floor dining area, that has several balconies. This is the general outline of most weddings there, although some people prefer the indoor wedding ceremony, which the 2nd floor area is used. The restaurant is well equipped to change your outdoor wedding to an indoor wedding, for our wedding day it was done without a glitch. There are other combinations of using the upper and lower levels, that other parties used but I'm not sure if the price is the same.
Food was very good, my guest are still raving about it. The entrees we chose were the Chilean sea bass and the beef medallions. The other dishes we tried at the tasting were excellent as well( filet mignon, salmon etc...) but we chose those two because they were not only AMAZING but less generic.
My only gripe was that the chilean sea bass had to be switched to salmon at my wedding because the was not checked on by a sui chef and fish had gone bad, the kitchen chef then had to delay the entree and we replaced the time with dance set. The dish was excellent anyway as per my guest.
The dessert was also changed from a cheesecake on a plate to a cheese cake with a parfait cup. This I was told was the pastry chef "was trying something new." By then I did not care( b/c i was dancing up a storm) and again it was a tasty dish. However would have been quite annoying if I had decided to print menus.
Also it was probably the same pastry chef fixed my battered cake to look like new.
Otherwise the staff was amazing/ professional/personable and well prepared. Even when my dj was acting up, they have a back up sound system and were prepared to take over with our laptop and ipod.
hope that was helpful.

Punam is an amazing photog and person. She was professional but so very real. We met prior to hiring her and a early dinner became a late dinner. She is truly someone who loves/is loved and understands love. It was like having a very good friend be there for you on your wedding day. She captures the beauty and emotion of your day in such a talented/thoughtful way.
She's young and fresh. She knows what she's doing.
As for the technical stuff:
-We had a local wedding and were a budget so we went with her most affordable package
-She includes an engagement session with her package. We didn't have time to set one up because of our crazy schedules, but i bet it's great time to to get hang out with her because she is awesome.
-Her style is very unobtrusive and she makes it comfortable to be in front of the camera.
REALLY zero stars but i had to put in one to post this
I dealt with the main dj, of this so called company.
He had been recommended to me by a friend of a friend
- affordable and you get what you pay for 100 an hour plus and extra 100 or so being the MC, and additional cost for portable sound systems
- he was unprofessional and was drunk for the later portion of the evening
- his MCing was overbearing, interjecting every moment with talking, talked through our first dance and had the rest of the bridal party join us on the dance floor!
he also took the mic out of the best mans hand because he didnt get to introduce him.
- calls the groom an hour before the ceremony to say he did not have our requested music, and when we provided him with a ipod he said he didn't know how to work it.
- my planner felt that he was trying to get more money due to how upscale the hall was and seemed to feigning ignorance when asked why he didnt have his laptop or ipod with him
-he demanded more money at reception and threatened to leave. stating he came alone demanded more money because the hall's worker would not help him with his equipment. Also that since the hall had a staircase it would cost me extra.
Ruined my wedding, he is in our pics too, standing between us during the cake
cutting, trying to stand in front of the best man when he was giving his speech.
The review in one word: HORRIBLE
thank god i had my love ones around me at the time.
