The most beautiful place to have a reception in Souther California. Plus, their food is amazing, their service impeccable, and they are a pleasure to work with.

After having searched the ballrooms and fine hotels of Los Angeles, we chose the Athenaeum because it feels so personal and warm and inviting. Plus its architecture is phenomenal and the textures and patterns of the rooms are so perfect for pictures!

The dresses looked great on my lovely bridesmaids! Another perk of these non-cheesy looking dresses is that you can dye them after so they are more usable.

The company is also very helpful. When one of my bridesmaids got a little busty over the months after ordering a certain size, we were able to order a little swatch of fabric to get it taken out, plus they sent directions to give to the alterations person so they knew exactly what seams to take out that would be most cost effective! How great!

They were also very helpful in creating my dream cake that other wedding-cake suppliers said could not be done. I was truly impressed.

I confidently recommend Jeff and Jennifer, the couple that makes up Gold Dust Entertainment, because they were a PLEASURE to work with; from planning the music in the months before hand, being really friendly but not trying to run your wedding, and they know music.

Jeff and Jennifer are such nice people and really understood what we wanted for our wedding - djs that know a wide variety of music, know how to mix music so that the songs dont get stagnant, and play songs at the appropriate time for a broad age range of our guests.

Jennifer emceed the evening. She was very unobtrusive and professional, and organized. She confirmed the pronunciation of the bridal party's names and stayed on top of the schedule.

They also offer a great online music data base where you can pick your top must play 100 songs, 100 maybe songs, and 100 DONT play songs (something that was very helpful!)

They did such a great job of keeping everyone up and dancing the entire night. I highly recommend them!

Kate was a pleasure to work with and did such an amazing job! All the guests were telling me how much they loved the arrangements; which is nice to hear because most of the time people don't notice them. She understood exactly what I had in mind and created even more beautiful arrangements than I could have imagined.

She created arrangements that were unique, well designed, beautiful colors and textures, and durable! We had her move the both the altar and pew arrangements from the church to the reception and they looked great in both places and was helpful for budgeting.

She was very flexible in terms of budget, telling us upfront what our options were for the amount and types of flowers we could use for our price range; and she stayed within our budget.

Kate was on the whole easy to work with, and her flowers were more successful than I could have imagined.

Allison is a phenomenal photographer. She is organized, timely, and very easy to communicate with. Additionally, she is brilliant with the camera and captures the entire wedding without being obtrusive or cheesy. She uses a combination of real film and digital, along with her assistant that also takes digital.

She has an amazing eye for composing a photograph without posing anyone. However, she does do amazing formals that are so fast and organized! Together we created a list of all the formals that were to take a month before the wedding so that the day of, we didnt have to worry who was in what picture. She learned everyone's name and made sure they were in the right pictures so it went fast. She also takes beautiful portraits of all of our guests, instead of just taking pictures of people while they are eating.

When I received the photographs from our wedding, I could not believe how beautiful they came out; better than I could have ever imagined. My husband and I agreed that these pictures were better than a video of our wedding because she captured everyones expressions and action so beautifully and candidly.

I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding such a success and having such amazing pictures to remember it by.
