Store visited was in Syracuse, NY
I was in the store for a total of 9 minutes. I spent 5 minutes filling out the necessary paperwork. I had scheduled an appt earlier in the week for that Saturday Feb. 14th so I was a planned appt. After filling out the paperwork I was taken by an attendent. Mind you while I was filling out the neccesary paperwork the attendents were arguing over who was going to "take care" of me each having an excuse ("well I am having dinner with my bf for valentines day at 2 pm I can't do her"...) mind you my appt was at noon I was by myself so I certainly was not going to take 2+ hrs. I came prepared with dresses I had enjoyed online and was anxious to look at in my size (18). I was nicely told they did not have any of the dresses I liked online in stock and that if I enjoyed them so much online I should just "go back home and order it". The whole point of going to a bridal shop is to try on dresses and get a feel for what is comfortable on you and something you enjoy. The attendent was VERY rude and had no customer service. I walked out of there crying. It was right up there with some of the rudest places I have gone to look at bridal gowns (and I have had 3 out of the 5 places I visited horrible)
That granted I did call the Davids Bridal in Albany, NY and over the phone they were very pleasant and when I explained my situation with the Syracuse, NY store they were very apologetic. I even found out that most of the dresses that the Syracuse store told me were discontinued in all actuality they weren't! Albany could get them delivered in 2 weeks.
I have bought ball gowns there for military balls and they are cheap reasonable and able to walk out of the store however for bridal gowns I will not spend any of my wedding money at this store.
