Joyce and her team did such a great job on the wedding party. We all looked great! I was very happy with my hair and makeup. Her team arrived on time to start with the preparations. If something wasn't to the person's satisfaction, it was changed. For instance, after seeing her hair done, my mom wanted bigger hair, which was done for her. Also, Joyce has very gentle hands. She doesn't yank at your hair or jab pins into your head. She makes sure that you're very comfortable.

We ordered the Paradise cake with fresh strawberries for the wedding and it was delicious!! My only problem was that the design of the cake wasn't quite like the picture I had given them. The color of the cake design and the design itself was a little off, which was disappointing. But, in the end, everyone enjoyed the cake, which is the most important part.

We picked this hotel as the accomodations for our guests for our wedding. My husband was the one that contacted the hotel sales people to get the hotel block arranged. Our contact at the venue was one of the hotel sales manager and I had a difficult time with her. First, the hotel was going through some type of computer system change. When I asked for an updated list of people who booked rooms through our block, several people were missing from the list that I knew already made their reservations. Second, when I asked the sales manager to check for a particular reservation (I even gave her the reservation number) and get back to me, I didn't get a response. It wasn't until we called her that she was able to tell us that they did have the reservation. Third, every time I asked for an updated list, it was always incomplete. Someone was always missing, which made things diffcult for me since I was putting together welcome packages for my guests. Lastly, my in-laws specifically requested a room with two queen beds. The reservations were made months in advance of the wedding. At check in, they told us that they only had king beds available. Ultimately the issue was resolved, but if the two beds couldn't be guaranteed, the hotel should have informed us when we made the reservation. Despite this, the suite my husband and I got was nice and spacious. The front desk rep, Lorena, that I encountered was a pleasure.

The flowers for my wedding by Three Petals were beautiful. I loved my bouquet and table arrangements! What's great about Three Petals is they're willing to work with you within your budget. I told them what the wedding colors were, what flowers I liked, and what flowers I didn't like. We met for a flower and color consultation to make sure everything was on the right track. Fayth was wonderful in dealing with my misunderstandings too. I had read the proposal incorrectly and momentarily panicked. Not only were the arrangements beautiful, but the flowers arrived on time! Fayth and Cat were very professional and the arrangements were beautiful.

There is nothing scarier than needing to get your wedding gown altered and not knowing where to go. I heard about Gabriel through the White Dress in Corona del Mar. I went in to have my dress shortened and taken in. Gabriel had the dress altered quickly and did a wonderful job altering my multilayered dress. He also altered my mom's gown for the wedding as well as the second gown I was changing into for the reception. He's done a great job for all of the gowns. Since he did a great job on these important wedding day clothes, I've now gone to him for all my other clothes that need altering. He's far for me to get to (I live in Diamond Bar), but well worth the drive to ensure my clothes are well taken care of!

I had a great experience with the staff at the White Dress. They were all friendly and helpful. Brides - just to warn you, when you go to try on dresses, generally the dresses are right off the runway. So, be prepared when you have to try on a dress that's a size 0 and you wear anything that's bigger than a size 0. It wasn't fun to squeeze into a dress that wasn't my size, but the staff put me at ease and help me in and out of the dresses I was trying on. I felt that their selection of dresses was much better than a Costa Mesa bridal salon that I had gone to. The dresses here were more unique and prettier than the other salon that I had visited. In the end, I found a gorgeous dress by Model Novias of Spain. I didn't have any problems with ordering the dress. In fact, it even arrived early.

The D'Jay Company was on the pricey side, but the DJ provided to us for the wedding was great. The D'Jay Company has a great online music planner for couples. I was able to create my own playlist for the wedding, indicate what not to play, and indicate which songs to play with what wedding event, such as the grand entrance or first dance. During my meeting with Jay, the founder/owner of the company, he helped my husband and me determine which songs to play during what event to help us along. As for the wedding day DJ, Toby, he was great. He showed up early to set up and was ready by the time the guests arrived. When a guest requested a questionable song, he came by to ask if it was ok to play or to ignore the request. He made sure we were happy with the music played.

The Rene and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall is a beatiful wedding venue. Catering for the OCPAC is exclusively through the Patina Group. My wedding there was incredibly beautiful. Having the wedding at this location is a little pricey compared to other places, but it was one of the few venues that could handle the number of people I was going to have at the wedding that wasn't a hotel. Additionally, the venue is unique. It's dramatic yet has a timeless look to it. My contact through the Patina Group for the OCPAC, Stacey, was wonderful. She was diligent in answering my multitude of questions. The food, what little of it I got to eat that night, was great.

DeeDee was wonderful to work with. During our engagement photo shoot, my husband was worried that he would be uncomfortable in front of the camera. But, we were at ease with DeeDee within the first few photographs taken. Our engagement session pictures were beautiful. For the wedding, we had an incredibly large group of people attending. DeeDee and her staff of photographers were great! They showed up a little early to scope out the venue and started the photos on time. Again, DeeDee had us at ease. The wedding photos were amazing! The only problem now is to go through all the photos and try to pick my favorites for the photo album!

Melinda was an amazing day of coordinator! She was very helpful with her suggestions, since I felt a little clueless when it came to timing and events. She was diligent in following up with my vendors prior to the wedding and was very well organized on the day of the wedding. A few days before the wedding, she called to check how I was doing, let me vent a little, and took care of some last minute things. The day of the wedding, she ran the wedding on time and without any worries to me. Brides - I highly recommend getting a day of coordinator (since you can't do it all) and I highly recommend Melinda. She was absolutely wonderful!
