I currently have him booked for our wedding on Oct 20. We also used Huy to take some scenic couple pictures in order to create our sign-in portrait. The City Hall pictures were pretty neat but our poses were a bit awkward. Our poses were unnatural. Not Huy's fault but because it's not what we're used to. Second time, we took photos at Bakers Beach, SF and they turned out much nicer. Strolling along holding hands was intimate while Huy snapped away.

I will be able to review wedding photos after this weekend! I would say his pricings are reasonable and he can get you the images quickly. I would highly suggest more closeup pictures.

Cakes are sweet. The couple, Jen and Anthony are so friendly. Their tasting takes place at their home since the bakery can get quite busy. Although they live in San Jose, all the magic happens in Los Gatos. Their cake portfolio is really great. Smooth buttercream frosting and detailed designs caught my attention. The cake is more sweet than I normally would like it, but I really liked their almaretto flavor cake. We decided on a three-tier cake, chocolate buttercream with small polka dot piping, and two flavors: 1) strawberry and cream cheese 2)almaretto. My coordinator will be adding red flowers to the cake as well.
I can't wait to see it and eat it.

I got my dress here. Ordered in January and received today, Oct.5. An error was detected when the gown arrived on Sept 1 but was 6 INCHES TOO SHORT. Standing there seeing my two feet was horrific. Calls were made to Melissa Sweet in New York and the dress was re-done. A month later, I am even more nervous and anxious. I hope this second fitting will be flawless because if not, I will lose trust in this salon and everyone else who was involved in creating and processing this dress.

I picked out a Melissa Sweet french lace gown called "Fern."

We met for tasting just last weekend and they couldn't have made it easier for us. Although we were a little skeptical at first, since the tasting was at their home, but found their place to be quite cozy. 10 tastings and water led to this decision --chocolate buttercream and 2 flavors, strawberry creamcheese and almaretto cake. We're ecstatic about trying the cake on the big day!
