Our cake was amazing! Our venue gave us a few options for bakeries we could go to (cake was included in our package), and we chose It's All About the Cake because they offered a key lime filling. Key lime pie is our favorite dessert, so we knew we had to have that! When we went down for the cake tasting though, we were a little disappointed in the taste. It was a little artificial. But, after talking with Diane, we figured out something we could add to it, and it turned out perfect! I loved that they were open to tweaking things.

We got so many compliments on the cake - most saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. It was so moist, and the filling and buttercream tasted so good.

And their location is pretty cool too - it's across the street from the Dana Point harbor, so after our tasting my husband and I went for a walk down by the water. It was such a special day!

Bruce is awesome! He's so sincere, you can tell he actually cares about hearing what you have to say. The other DJs we met with gave us a generic speech and didn't care to know anything about us, how we met, etc. Bruce sit down with you and asks all the right questions to ensure that you get what you want out of your wedding music. The booklet he gives you is a godsend for all organized brides out there too! I highly recommend him!

Jan is fantastic! We just got our engagement photos back and I couldn't be happier with them. My fiance isn't a fan of taking photos, but Jan put him completely at ease with how calm and non-forceful he is. He gave us simple direction, and although some of the poses felt somewhat awkward at the time, they all came out beautifully. His work is a perfect blend - classic and timeless yet contemporary and artistic.

I too did a lot of research on photographers, and I have pretty high standards when it comes to photography. After our engagement shoot, my fiance and I knew we had made the right decision in selecting Jan. If you're looking for a loud, cheesy photographer that's trying to get everyone to have a good time, Jan is not the photgrapher for you. If you want someone calm that won't get in the way, yet super fun, Jan is perfect. Check out his site - his work speaks for itself :)
