My Fiancee found it very easy to go in, pick out a tuxedo and variations for his attendants to wear. Now all they have to do is go get measured. The entire she-bang including shoes was very reasonably priced (he didnt tell me EXACTLY how much) and all of it will be ready for him to pick up on Christmas Eve at an MW Tux location near our Destination Wedding in Florida!

The package I got was 5 hours, 2 people. The Manager of Vision DJs was very kind and personable on the phone, no high-pressure tactics. Explained everything step by step. They have a website where you can enter all of the information about your wedding and music preferences.

I went with La Quinta for my hotel Block. The block locks in a price ahead of time, but I am not responsible for any rooms that aren't reserved. We have 10 rooms in the block including 2 suites, which are two-room suites and theyre only $20 more than the regular room. All La Quinta Hotels are nice, new, well-maintained buildings with a pool, hot tub, and free breakfast.

I didn't go with Renaissance for my wedding's hotel block because they required a 2 night stay for at least 7 rooms, and I would be responsible for the difference if at least 70% of the rooms were not filled by wedding guests. This was a possible liability of 0.7*7*2*$190=$1862 I couldnt commit to since I didnt know how many out of town guests would need hotel rooms.

the amount is an estimate, since they're letting us order our own meals off the menu (party of 20 or less), and since the dinner is still in the future.

When I called JB's On the Water in Deerfield Beach, FL it was because of their proximity to our ceremony (and so rehearsal) location. They said they had a private room called the "aquarium room" that would hold up to 24 people, which we could reserve.

My mom and brother and sister and I went to have lunch there and check out the place. The food was GREAT!! They have typical sandwich, salad, grill fare as well as high-end seafood and steaks, and full bar. Each of us ordered different things and all of our food was great.

When we went to see the aquarium room, it was a bit of a letdown. The "Aquariums" were big screen TVs with a DVD of computer generated fish in an aquarium playing on the TVs. The room was long and thin with 8 4-top tables set up and two rows. The long side of the room looked out (through the patrons seated on the patio, past the beach-front walkway, and through the mounded sea-grass) onto the atlantic ocean.

I wish the room had been a little fancier, possibly on the second floor, so-as to look out onto the ocean un-hindered. I also wish the windows were more cleanly installed, instead of being regular florida-type sliding doors (or door-walls as they are called in the midwest)

Still, we decided to go with the place because we decided that the rehearsal dinner is just about being with our wedding party and family, having a good time, talking together, and enjoying some good food. even though the room may look funny, people will get over it right away!

each location of joann fabrics has a VERY different array of bridal items. One near my office in Allen Park, MI has lots of good invitation kits available to print your invitations at home, and also kits for the wedding-day programmes.

They have boxes and bags for putting favors in, and I bought a package of favor boxes to see how they work, and they don't stay closed properly. :(

I also bought an iron-on rhinestone appliquee and tee shirt for my maid of honor saying "maid of honor". The bothersome thing is that the corresponding "Bridesmaid" appliquee was all sold out and I don't know where to go to get it.

Joann typically puts out a flier every week with a 40% off coupon for one regular-priced item. Howevery, I typically forget it at home the day I plan to go to Joann.

On Weekend days Fri-Sat-Sun when they have special sales, the lines are REALLY long, and they don't make any effort to add more cashiers to deal with the long lines. In fact, long lines are a problem all week, and at all times of day.

My bridesmaids are wearing black dresses and don't neccessarily have to have matching dresses. They found the cutest stylish knee-length and floor-length black dresses in stores in Nov, 2008 including classic sheath and classis big-skirted dresses. My maid of honor went for the silk rose dress that is just SO PRETTY it makes me say "SQUEE!!".

this store only caters to women of slight build and average height.

weddings by the sea's Charles is very knowledgeable about the south florida area and is able to make suggestions on where to hold your cerermony if you want a beach or ourdoor wedding. His wife Shirley organizes the contractors such as flowers, limo, etc.

They are running a mom and pop business, so they don't have contracting paperwork available as readily as a national business would, but they're helpful and responsive to every request.

I am happy we went with WBTS because they are taking care of everything from the Limo reservation to the personal flowers, the ceremony location reservation with the city, set-up and take down of all the chairs, decorations, arch, hiring the officiant, and organizing the ceremony structure (including personalizing it as we desire) It's a relief to know that all of these things are being taken care of for one low price!

Signature grand in Davie, FL is a beautiful building. Their event producers are knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and low-pressure.

The package we purchased changes price based on day of the week and time, and month of the year, but I think it is a great value. It includes open bar, hot and cold hour d'ourves, fruit, salad, dinner plate with TWO main dinner choices on EACH plate, a starch, a vegetable, the wedding cake, and gelato!

I sat down with my event producer for about 1 hour and made the choices on the above details, and also confirmed that a vegetarian and child's meal are available. since theyre a large establishment, they have their own linens, tableware, etc and even have centerpieces if you want to rent them for the night.

I did not use the on-site vendors, but there are lots of on-site vendors for one-stop shopping

The dresses at David's are the most mainstream ones I have found. They have lots of sizes. However, the high pressure tactics of their salespeople makes shopping there an anxiety-ridden experience.

They cannot tell you how long alterations will take, and they basically threaten you with the line "The dress you want may not be here anymore when you want to purchase it" and "that's a 6-week order, but next month its going to be an 8-week order".

Also, davidsbridal.com has lots of pretty dresses, but theres no way to try them on without buying them first and having them sent directly to you!!

I purchased the product because I like it, but I give the service a thumbs down!
