Before we ever booked our wedding venue, florist, caterer, etc... my (now) husband and I booked Red Cheese Photo Booth for our event! NO WAY! ~ you may think..but it is true, you have but to check out our contract and see all the "to be determined" areas if you don't believe it. CRAZY! ~ you may think...on this one I can't argue, but what I can say is that it was definitely a decision we did not regret! We learned about Red Cheese at a wedding vendor's meeting that we accidentally happened to stumble upon (fate I tell you FATE!).

After meeting with their incredibly friendly staff ( which of course we initially thought were just being nice to try and get our money hehehe) we knew we wanted a booth for our wedding (we had to play it cool though, you don't want to look too willing to fork out the cash haha) we just didn't know when and where. With time, we booked all the other wedding vendors needed to make a wedding and it all came together in Irvine on August 29th, 2009.

The staff was unbelievably punctual and professional, though still fun, friendly, and entertaining to our guests, not to mention on the ball with the technical stuff! (the booth was up all night without any interruptions in service) They took care of everything from explaining to guests how the booth worked, to encouraging them to use props (like funny hats and glasses), and even helping them create a memorable scrap book of photos for us! (THANK YOU RED CHEESE, you guys were a delight!!!)

Oh! and did I mention how incredibly fun it all was?!?!
There is something about being, seemingly alone, in a small place with a camera that just brings out the silly in people! It loosened up my guests, started conversations, filled the room with laughter and overall ensured that all of our guests, including ourselves, had a fabulous time! We all got to see sides of people we did not even know existed...and even some we should never know existed haha
I will always treasure the pictures I got from the Red Cheese photo booth and wouldn't trade them for anything!!! It was an amazing night filled with phenomenal memories. We endlessly tried to beat the Red Cheese biggest group photo record which now stands at 13 people...though to no avail, we still had some terrific fun!

Another thing I think is important to mention (before I forget) is that while my hubby and I were meeting wedding photographers we ran into another company that was doing photo booth rentals (they had left a business card and a sample of their work for the photographer we were meeting in hopes that he would recommend them to couples getting married), lets just say that we were appalled by the photo quality of that sample!!! Red Cheese's photo printing quality was at least 10 times better than this other place and Boy-Oh-Boy were we happy we did not land on this other place first and signed with them! I guess we got truly lucky and landed on a company that really knew what they were doing, as they should considering (we later found out) that they were the first mobile photo booth rental company (EVER!) and they were fully insured!

With all that being said...bet you don't think booking them first for our wedding was so CRAZY after all... well it still was but luckily, with a company like Red Cheese there was not much we could have done to make it all go down wrong.

Finally, I will make one last suggestion, if you decide on going with Red Cheese, use Red Cheese's box of props or bring your own hats, glasses, halloween costume accessories or anything else that could be used as a prop, your guests will LOVE IT and you will love the incredible pictures you are left with when all the wedding vendors are packed up and the night is over!

When thinking about the cake at our wedding the first thing that comes to mind to describe it is “The Best Part” of our wedding!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Jeseca from Jeseca’s Creations was simply amazing!! If you are looking for someone that is talented and incredibly dedicated to your event, Jeseca is the person you MUST call. She will work with you to create a completely personalized cake, in fact she wants this cake to be the cake of your dreams (and she loves a challenge). She is incredibly passionate about her cakes and it shows in her work. Jeseca is honest and will not make any promises she cannot keep.
We found Jeseca accidentally when we bumped into her while visiting another cake shop. At that time my fiancée and I were pretty disheartened and disillusioned about wedding cakes having already visited several bakeries that cost a fortune for any average looking wedding cake. We were certainly convinced at this point that we could never afford a real wedding cake like the ones we had seen in movies or magazines. I wanted a big cake but we had few guests and most places were charging too much for us to pay for extra unnecessary slices. On top of that as soon as we asked about the trendy and popular fondant finish the price grew exponentially. Finally, unless you wanted a cookie cutter cake they were charging expensive hourly rates for decorating.
Jeseca’s Creations was the first bakery we talked to that gave a damn! Jeseca listened to our wedding cake dreams with her heart not with her wallet. She gave us ideas and helpful suggestions, she was not pushy or insensitive, and if her great prices and passion for our wedding cake did not win us over, her delicious cake tasting session certainly did!
Working with Jeseca’s Creations was very smooth and stress free for my fiancée and I. Moreover, at the wedding they were the most flawless of our vendors. The cake itself was gorgeous and exceeded our greatest expectations, it also tasted wonderful!! My husband and I still drool at the thought of the cake (her Pineapple Rum Cake is fabulous!). We can’t wait for our one year anniversary for Jeseca to make us our anniversary cake; we will have to buy another cake from her before that.
As for what our guests thought of the cake…Well they could not believe that the cake was real, many of them later confessed that they were shocked when we went to cut the cake since they were sure the cake was fake and just for looks. They thought that we would bring out another cake for the cutting of the cake!
What more could a bride and groom ever ask for???
Looking back now we feel very lucky and fortunate about our chance encounter with Jeseca and look forward to many more delicious encounters with her in the future.
