Scott the DJ has left a great lasting impression in our heads. There are a lot of words to describe him; fun, energetic, exciting, great DJ, professional, mature, accommadating, great value... Prior to the wedding he sent out a form for us to fill out with our music selections and he stuck to what we listed. He got our guests involved without being obnoxious about it. Scott did not forget about the kids either. He used props that made the evening fun for all ages.

The Grand in Northfield, Minnesota was a beautiful location for our wedding reception. It was an old opera house and still has many of its charms. Chuck is the owner of The Grand. He was very helpful when making arrangements and answering any questions we had. The menu had a variety of selections from prime rib to chicken to walleye. We selected prime rib and chicken and received rave reviews from our guests about each of them. (side note-Chuck does all of the cooking himself) The Grand was romantic and fun. Our guests still talk about the time they had there and that is almost a year ago.

We were married in Mexico and we used Carrousel Travel as our travel agency for our destination wedding. Our travel agent, Carol, was awesome. She took a lot of the stress of planning a destination wedding/honeymoon off of us. She did all the communication between the resort, airlines, and us. We had so many questions about prices and locations and if the locations were kid friendly. She answered them with ease and if she did not know the answer she would find out in a timely manner. She made booking for all of our families so easy and if anyone had any questions she was available to answer them. If there were any problems while in Mexico, we were to contact her and she would take care of it. Carol explained everything that needed to be done while in Mexico and there were no surprises when we got there. The price above was for two adults and 1 child at an all inclusive resort as well as a small honeymoon at another all inclusive resort after the family left and airfare. It did not include the wedding package at the resort. My husband continues to use Carol and Carrousel Travel to book business trips.

Steve Rouch Photography was wonderful to work with. The whole staff is friendly and very helpful. We had Steve himself photograph our wedding reception. Steve and his assistant were great and patient with all the people we wanted photographed. He really captured our reception with all the romance and fun we had that night. The staff at the office did a wonderful job with our wedding album. They were great with keeping in touch with us and available to answer any questions. Steve Rouch Photography comes highly recommended from my husband and I.

Since we had a destination wedding, I wanted to have similar flowers at the reception as we did in Mexico. I brought pictures in of the flowers we had in Mexico and Kay's Floral was accommadating and made suggestions for alternatives if the flowers I wanted were not available at that time of year. They also kept the cost of the flowers reasonable with their suggestions. The owner came to the reception site and decorated our cake and it was beautiful from top to bottom. Everything was beautiful and it was what I expected and more.
