On the day of my wedding it was very dark and rained all day. So all the pictures i planned on having taken in the garden were not taken. My pictures were nice, but not spectacular. So i hired this photographer to do a re-shoot outside this month. It was great. The photographer was so nice and respectful and made me feel at ease. I was very nervous to be shooting at a public garden with everyone staring at my big dress, but in the end i forgot all about them thanks to Joe. I just received the shots today. It has only been a week and i already got all my pictures on a cd. They look amazing!!! I look just like a radiant bride on her wedding day. All the poses that i though were a bit awkward look soo good. I am soo happy that i did this re-shoot, theses are the pictures that i should have had the first time around. I love these pictures. I am also thinking of purchasing a bridal shoot package for my sister. That way she can take all the interesting pictures before the wedding day and not be worried about a time frame like my wedding day. Now I just have to pick out the pictures to do my album, its hard there are so many nice shots.

This was my last florist i saw of the day. When i first walked in the shop my fiance said this is going to be very expensive lets go. the shop looked great,it looked like an interior designer put it together. The owner was very nice and actually rather young. a customer picked up flowers while we were waiting and she seemed very happy with them. The owner knew exactly what i was talking about and suggested things that very helpful. prices were a bit more than others but i think the quality and design concepts are much higher quality. Actually i am very excited about my flowers, i feel that he got a young and fresh concept for the romantic look that i am going for. will post pictures. wish i lived in the area so i could get all my flowers from them.
UPDATE: i forgot to post this months ago so here it goes. I love this place. When I booked this florist I was told that I needed to call with the measurements of the flower girls head for her wreath. I forgot and on the day of the wedding I called panicking like crazy about still not having done that. The lady who answered the phone reassured me that they gave enought to cover her head even without me calling them, I also forgot to tell them that i wanted all the womens flowers delivered to a different hotel. She said it was no problem and took down my info. One hour later my flowers were delivered to the hotel room. They were sooo pretty, it was so much more then i expected. Plus when they delivered the mens boutonnieres they gaves us two extras. I have been to so many wedding were they just used plastic ones to save money and I am so happy that i did not, my flowers were awesome!

when i called and asked for an appointment they were nice to fit me in that very day. The shop was very cluttered but did look like there was a design behind it. when i met the owner he was very nice but wasted my time alot with stories that had nothing to do with the flowers. he was a bit rude when he insulted a certain town that i lived in before but i let it pass. first he def tries to push you into things you dont want or need. when i told him there was an outdoor arch where we will be married under he made a big fuss saying that we needed to rent one from him in case it rains so he can move it indoors thats all fine and all but that was about $700 extra. after the 2 hour consultation we left. i knew that i wouldnt book him but wanted to know the prices just in case. It took about a week for him to email me a proposal. a brides bouquet was $400, for roses!! to rent just the flower basket was $55!!!uhh nightmare!! very overpriced!!!

I started to look for florist very late.About a month before the wedding. I booked an appointment for consultations with this store. I talked to the husband who was incredibly rude on the phone. I am the customer and he basically made me feel like he was doing me the favor to begin with. When i came into the shop i had the consultation with the wife who was very nice but might not be the best salesperson. when i suggested flower petals on all the tables she said i should buy silk ones myself so that they would last longer. the shop is very small and not decorated in this decade. the whole time the husband was barking random remarks from the counter "she wants that, well what does she expect its three weeks from now". She also kept trying to talk me into picking up my flowers b/c i didn't have centerpieces, they have another wedding that day, and i guess they don't feel like delivering to me even though i have to pay for it. Like i don't have anything better to do on my wedding day then run around picking up all the flowers.Also as a side note i got my prom dates boutonniere from here, and the ivory rose had some browning on the tips and broke off its stem in the lime before we even arrived to prom, i was very embarrassed about the low quality even though i paid 25 for it five years ago. i would not recommend them.

when you walk into the store you walk into the shop where everything is covered in dust. there is a plaque on the wall about good design and it is dated 1983, there is nothing recent hanging. the flowers in the fridge were ALL wilting with brown edges. When i showed the picture of bouques i found online she took a look at them and said "well i can see this is a rose this flower isnt a rose , i dont know what that is but thats not a rose". I have no experience running a flower shop but i can tell a difference between a rose and a hydrangea. there was a sign on the wall that said all wedding consultations were $25 per session. she never once requested payment and honestly i wouldn't have paid. She acted like i was bothering her the whole time she never asked me what i wanted or needed. i just had to tell her and she would just write it down never saying anything. two customers came in were ignored completely they left without saying or buying anything, also her prices weren't cheap. My groom who is always composed walked out of the shop halfway through the consultation and waited until i was done.

I ordered paper for the programs and menus from here. I ordered the bulk cover paper in white and olive. If you are ordering a lot it really adds up it was 25 per 100 pieces and then shipping for everything was about 25. Delivery took about 5 days or so. I am not loving the paper the white color doesnt look that great, def try to visit a store to see the quality and colors.

I have been looking for the perfect shoe for quite a while and man did i find it. i have a wide foot and didnt want a heel any larger than 2 3/4. at first i couldnt find any shoes , but then i found the evening section and they have about 15-20 pairs of white shoes and not counting all the color one for special occasion. i have already made up my mind to wear a low heel and i found it. its perfect and only 45. they look better than most shoes at the bridal salon and four times as less. def worth checking out first.

This place is excellent!!!First i found some bridal site that was giving away free samples of the letterpressed invitations, which no one sends out for free anymore. The samples were wonderful but when i looked at the site the prices were still way too high for me. somehow i signed up for a newsletter and one day i opened an email for an offer for 100 letterpressed invitations and rsvp's for only 350!!there were only a few designs that you could choose from. somehow i forgot about this and missed the cutoff date. i emailed the company asking if they could extend the offer for me and they did. on a work day every email that i sent was responded to within 2 hr. they were very helpful, they sent reminders to get my stuff in, and helpful with wording questions i had. the invitation were great i got the black tie invites. the paper is great the only thing is the rsvp's are printed on the same type of paper and when they go through the mail they do no hold up well. now that people are sending me the rsvps back they are almost all ripped and bent. the paper is too soft, maybe spring for some envelopes for the rsvp's from papersource or something to solve the problem.also sign up for the newsletter, and keep checking for those offers i hear they are often advertised.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The first time i went in here to look for bridesmaid dresses there was a customer before me. The girl paid for her bridesmaid dress to come early so she paid the rush fee and when she came to pick up the dress she was told that the dress never came in. They did say that they would refund her money back, but what good is that if you dont have the dress for the wedding. After looking everywhere else i decided to order from this place. I paid the rush fee in cash and got a receipt. First when they called to tell the dresses where in they said they were brown and not the green which i ordered. after i was able to pick myself off the floor, i called and sent my sister to pick up her dress at the store. When she got there was someone arguing with the saleslady once again. Apparently they couldn't find one of the bridesmaid dresses that they were storing, and the wedding was this weekend. when it was my sisters turn she picked up her dress which was green, thank god. But she was told there was no record of me paying 120 for the rush fee. I freaked out, but i did find the receipt, and after calling back the lady, i was told that i had to come in with it b/c she couldnt track it even though there was conformation numbers on the receipt. The lady who owns the shop is very snooty and a total witch. Do no go here unless you want to be ripped off!!! and if you do order from here, order a year in advance, keep every receipt, and dont leave your dress there!!Plus customer service sucks!
