Excellent place to stay! The rooms are EXACTLY as pictured with a few extra gorgeous views, that you'd have to see for yourself. The pool was always the perfect temp, the jacuzzi (both in room and poolside) were amazingly relaxing. Whenever we needed something (for example none of our remotes worked for the Tv's) the frontdesk had it delievered to our door within minutes.

My only complaint would be with the kitchen staff. Being that my wedding reception was held here, I was provided with a private breakfast buffet for my guests, set to begin at 830. The first day I had to go to the front desk and remind them that my guests were waiting for breakfast, which then took them almost an hour to set up. Needless to say, breakfast was not served on time and ran late.

Then there came the miscommunication with my reception set up. I was asked what time I'd like for dinner to be served and gave a time of 5p . Anytime I've been asked this question when dealing with banquets of other sorts this did not include set up time too. However, when myself and my guests arrived at 430 (1/2 hr after the starting time I said I wanted the space reserved for) which I informed them in advance would be the case, they were still setting up everything INCLUDING the table linen. My guests and I ended up waiting until around 530-6p to get seated and eat. Try explaining that to a bunch of hungry/anxious guests. The food was delicious, which made up for some of the wait... but I would most certainly recommend better order on their end. I dont know if my reception was the first they hosted, as they didnt seem to be a bit unprepared for it.

At the end of it all, everyone truly enjoyed their time. Minus the kitchens hiccups, everything was perfect. I think with a little time, Lake Eve will most certainly be a 5 star all around review.

We were very pleased to have had Rev. Glynn officiate our ceremony. He was very friendly, informative and professional. Although 5 minutes before the ceremony was our first meeting, he had a way of making us feel comfortable, as if we'd known each other much longer. My now husband and I, were both pretty nervous, Rev. Glynn took charge and led us through the entire ceremony without hesitation. Thanks for everything!

I purchased my daughter's flower girl dress here and absolutely LOVED IT! They have a nice selection of gowns to choose from, shipping is fast, and the quality is great! The image of the dress online, was NOTHING compared to how beautiful it looked in person. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing location!! The scenery is out of this world! I truly felt like I was in a movie when walking down the aisle. Its a natural beauty, that doesn't take much decorating which is a huge plus.

My only complaint would be the bugs. Being that my wedding took place during one of the TWO times of the year that "love bugs" are present, they were everywhere. The sun can also be a killer, so refreshments and fans for your guests, are definitely recommended if at all possible.

Overall, we are truly pleased with our selection of Paradise Cove. We would without a doubt, recommended it to others who are seeking a beautiful outdoor location, at a reasonable cost.

I was able to purchase a few things from ebay for little cost. Some acceptable, others not so much. My best purchases would probably be the crystal earrings from seller dalfiya and glassine envelopes (for "tears of joy" packets) from arte-crafts. Both vendors were awesome to work with and provided quality product.

I also purchased a flowergirl dress and veil that I was not so pleased with from other sellers. Ebay is a luck of the draw type of purchase... you win some, you lose some. But for the prices, is usually worth trying.

I purchased my "N" Cake topper from Eddy & couldnt be more pleased. He was a pleasure to work with. I was provided several font options after telling him the type of font I was looking for. It took a day for proof and no more than 2 days for my topper to be completed. After finalizing my purchase my topper was shipped and received in less than a weeks time. Thanks Ed! LOVE, LOVe, LOVE this company. The ladies at cards & pockets are exceptional! After placing my original order, they went out of their way to give me a personal phone call and advise me that the color cardstock I ordered, was no longer in stock. Rather than shipping the "next best thing", as most companies probably would have, they gave me the choice to reorder. They also made me aware of the color options they had that might best suit the colors of my wedding and what quality paper would work out best for my DIY wedding invitation project.
