I rate it a C. The dresses we chose were so cute, and the shipping was fast and easy, but really, how does a dress go from $188.00 to $60.00 in just 3 weeks? We luckily bought it at $60.00 but then it went down to $35.00 about 2 weeks later- Really? At least we didn't get it at $188! Also, why are they discontinued so fast? We bought the dresses and then one more girl was added to our Bridal Party about 1 month later, and bam! no longer in stock! What?

The one in La Mesa is the best one IMHO. I called all over trying to find these really cute simple dresses for the flowergirls at the last minute (they both grew too much!) but all the sales girls had an attitude and told me they were not out for sale yet (they didnn't bother looking) When I called in La Mesa, "oh yes, we have both sizes right here!" Love it. I was in and out in 10 minutes. A+ for the La Mesa store, C-/D for the other ones in California -LA/OC/IE areas

love love love it:) some of my guests (and myself) were a little confused at first re: how the money gets to the bride & groom (thus the 4 not 5 stars) I think they could explain it a little better, but everyone loved that they could see what we wanted to do, and that I got to put a little blurb in each event the guests could contribute to (apperantly Im a little funny!) When I started getting the cards in the mail, I was surprised and happy that the guests could actually type in a message to us, that was cute. Much better than cluttery gifts and also better than charging poeple to give you a gift :)

Oh my gosh I am still getting text messages from people telling me how much they loved the florals and asking who I went with! Every thing was just perfect, she did exactly what I wanted and more! I didn't really know what to do at first and she just came up with all kinds of ideas that I loved, but the finished product was even more than I was thinking- and it fit right in our budget. She was so helpful and open that it made it easier on us since we were driving up from San Diego, even when FI invited an extra BM & GM at the last minute! My bouquet was just perfect and all the bouquets were SO much bigger than I had thought! All in all, the venues garden didn't hold a candle to Kate :)

Fan-tas-tic! FI and I liked Joey right off the bat- totally not cheesy and on top of that he had an awsome price- I would have paid double for the service he and his partner Randy provided. Randy even came to the rehearsal at no extra charge to feel out the venue and make sure things were all set and taken care of. No one else I spoke to would do that.
PLUS- our venue really let us down in the coordinator part and Joey and Randy really stepped it up- They were already going to do the MCing but took care of everything that the coordinator bailed on and we didn't even have to ask- JOEY was coming to US letting us know the time, asking what we thought of this and that, it was awsome that we didn't have to hunt it all down ourselves. Plus he made sure to make some of the transitions easy for me when I forgot to put my surprise football ticket gift in my garter before the garter toss, and it worked out well, b/c FI was ecstatic!

A+ for Joey and Randy!

The grounds themselves are so beautiful. The staff was another story. I had hoped that some of the things I saw happening would resolve themselves, but they didn't
The owner is really nice and as a person is very plesant, but she changed her story around so many times it was hard to figure out what we were actually getting after all the "yes" answers she gave to get us when we signed the contract.
-The alcohol situation originally had been that we could buy and bring our own beer and wine (no hard stuff, which was fine but there were 3 of us that heard it, so I don't see how all 3 of us could "misunderstand") Instead it is charged by glass and we had to put a certain amount down (which would have been ok I think if we had heard it upfront, but we may have chosen someone else because it was like 4-5 bucks a glass.) Then when we agreed on a tasting, she failed to mention that it would be DURING someone elses wedding and we show up in beach clothes- (we didn't even do it, I wasnt about to crash someone elses day looking like a hobo- that'd make a nice pic for them, huh? I just thought that was unprofessional to not prepare us and especially since we drove 2 hours with the price of gas through the roof from San Diego to do it- FI was furious)

On the day of the rehearsal and the wedding, she was nowhere to be found and never told us that she wouldn't be there at all. We don't like being handled the whole way and then being passed off on someone else when it counts. The coordinator for the day was ok, but he was MIA most of the wedding- the last time I saw him was when he asked me who to have take the rest of our stuff out of the bridal room. Then after being told over and over that we HAD to stick to their schedule, (dinner AT 6:30, which we were all seated and ready for) the entree was almost an hour late -we ended up waiting so long that we had to squish the little events together and bearly had time to talk to any of our guests, some of whom had to leave early for work the next day. I also didn't get to take a group picture with my aunts and uncles who I am really close with durning the cocktail hour as planned because we were worried about being late to the 6:30 sit down- We had planned it all out and allowed for time to take whatever pictures weren't done at the cocktail hour after dinner instead but it didn't happen because we were so over time- missed memory there.

Plus no one was around when we cut the cake, and we didnt know what we were doing, so we had to ask the photographer how it usualy goes and AFTER that, it took forever for the staff to serve it. We, the bride & the groom, and 3 of our families tables didnt even get served any cake! But we had 4 boxes of cake to take home, so we know there were plenty of pieces left! Lastly, we had planned to have our BM's and GM's help take home the items we brought since the venue said they "would not be responsible for the break down other than tables and chairs" but they started tearing things apart right when I was getting people together and they were so careless they just dropped my GLASS bowls, with the rocks and all, into a box and now I have 5 bowls that are broken. I know they are just a bunch of high school kids at work, but come on, these are my things that Ive paid for- why are they not being supervised by the COORDINATOR?

Basically both DH and I agree that the rest of our vendors and their help in our detailed planning were resposible for the good turnout of the wedding overall- The fact that the tables/chairs/dinnerware & cake (which was also done wrong after I paid extra for some details) were included in the price to me does not excuse poor customer service. If I treated my customers that way I'd get fired. The staff was not up to par at all in our opinion and I was really disappointed in that after the amount of money we spent.

I had initially had a good vibe going with our meetings and it seemed that everything was discussed and agreed on- Until the week before the wedding, when I found out that a certain icing decoration that was discussed and agreed on was not on their plans and was going to cost extra. I also hated the fact that they were trying to make it sound like I was not paying attention- I take detailed notes everywhere and I also had my mom and sisters with me to verify so Im not sure how else she thought she said it- I thought "whatever" and just agreed to pay the extra $35 bucks.

Wedding day- No black icing band around the base of the layers. It had some 2nd wierd green ribbon that didn't match and I still got charged. Not happy. The cake tasted, ok but I didnt even get a full piece. (Thats another review)

I have had such a positive expreience with Rob so far, I had to write a review before the wedding :) His price was amazing for how far he was going to travel, what was included and the time allotment (no limit! He's coming from LA to my mom's home in San Bernardino at noon, then out to Azusa for the wedding from 3-10 at no additional charge or mini fees!) He has been really great keeping up questions and ideas I have had over the phone and email. When we had our initial meeting, FI and I were struggling with how to plan the day meeting with vendors, since we live in San Diego and are getting married in San Gabriel Valley (family and friends all live out there) Rob had a wedding planned in our area that weekend and said he would stay an extra day to meet to make it easier on us- We went to the Starbucks across the street from our apartment and Rob was really direct and answered all our questions, no "selling" involved. FI was really impressed and gave me the ok vote to book him on the walk back to the house (that's hard to do!) I am really excited to see how everything turns out. Two thumbs up!

UPDATE! I got married! and Rob was fabulous! Very prompt and direct; our venue staff was dissappointing, but Rob helped us out when we asked him questions and was all over the place getting shots in- some of our guests have even called me to compliment how pleasant and friendly Rob was to them which was great to hear :) Our pictures came out beautifully- every one has been complimenting us on how classy everything was captured- I love the website that we were able to send to our family members out of state so that they can see them and order them on their own. We so glad we picked him! 100% recommended :)
