My invitations are half DIY. I got them printed then bought dry flowers from this site to paste on the invitations. They have a great selection and the order went smoothly. No problem with them at all.
We took 3 classes with them, and it worked out really well for us. Great teacher.

Good: We wanted a suite and Woodfin's suite has the best value. The hotel is new and modern and their staff are friendly.
Bad: You can't reserve a specific room. We asked for a room on the higher floors (12th) when we made the reservation, but we ended up getting one on the 5th.
I bought some crystal and pearl beads from Bubble and Beads and tried making my own hair piece. I had NEVER made any jewelries before, and I found that it really isn't that hard. Bubble and Beads is a great place to get your supplies if you want to start making your own too!
Cake tasting was the best part of wedding planning. I love cakes! In the end we picked Julie because the groom wanted a Tiramisu cake and she had the best Tiramisu among all the great bakers.
Like: The cake tastes really good and everyone loves it. She is also very talented and is a lovely person to work with.
Dislike: The cake didn't turn out to be the way I wanted. The green borders should look like bamboos with a few bamboo leaves (the color wasn't right and there were no leaves), there were supposed to have a few more sugar flowers (supposed to be around 10 but I only saw 5), and the three layers were supposed to be skewed (they look more like they are not aligned right). It actually looks better in photo but when I first saw it I was really disappointed.
Another thing is, she charged a fee for every meeting after the initial tasting, I don't know if that is standard practice or not. I didn't want to pay extra for meetings so I finalized the design with her over the phone. I thought she understood what I wanted but I guess she didn't. It probably would turn out much more like what I have in mind if we had met and talked in person.
I did not care so much about flowers and didn't want to spend much money on something that would wilt after the day. I also wanted simple arrangements that are stylish but need as few flowers as possible. Then I saw a photo of a centerpiece by Gina from Lotus's vendor review on wedding channal. That ended up to be my centerpiece as well.
Like: I set a very small flower budget and Gina was willing to work with it. She also gave me a lot of ideas and suggestions at our meeting and after the meeting via emails. She helped decorate the cake table on the day, which should have been the caterer's job. I really like her altitude and personality.
Dislike: I was quite disappointed when I saw my bouquet. I asked for pink callas lily (I showed her a photo of a dark pink callas), but the callas in my bouquet were more like pale purple and there weren't many of them. It really wasn't the color I wanted, and the bouquet was only slightly bigger than my MOH's. Gina later explained to me that it was hard to get the exact color of callas I wanted. I still think she could have got a better color though.
She also forgot to give me the complimentary bouquet for tossing, which was not a big problem for me since I decided not to do a bouquet toss, but could be a big problem for others.
Also I mentioned to her that I didn't like roses, but they still appeared in my ceremony and head table arrangements. I probably should have been more specific and told her not to use roses at all.
touch up kit which got stolen at the B Room later that day but I did not feel the need to touch up anyway. Airbrush makeup worked great on the three of us (none of us wear make up regularly). I changed my mind on how I wanted my hair to look many times after the trial and she patiently corresponded with me and gave me great suggestions.
Dislike: She arrived 15 min early but ended up being 1.5 hour behind schedule. It didn't cause us too much trouble because I have figured in some cushion time, but of course it would be better if she finished on time.
They are my favorite vendor. Immediate responses to emails and a great couple to work with. The best thing about having a couple is that Cynthia can be with me the whole time I was getting ready while Bill stayed with the guys. They shot a good mix of posed/traditional and photojournalist photos, as well as group photos. We got our proof back in less than 2 weeks and the DVDs in less than 1 month. They definitely captured our best moments.

We checked out Selix and Men's warehouse but were not too impressed with the quality of their suits. We also heard stories about them coming in wrong sizes and other problems, so we decided to buy one at Nordstorm.
Like: Great service and they altered the tux free of charge. It fits him much better than the rental ones.
Dislike: Very pricy. Though, if I can spend $1000+ on a dress that I will only wear once, he should definitely get the $600 tux that he can wear for many years.
email/toast me for her number
She works from her home in San Leandro and her price is incredible. She charged me $60 for: hemming, 3 point bustle, adding 4 straps, and custom making a 1 layer, fingertip veil with ribbon edge. I went there 1 month before my wedding and my maid of honor still had not found a dress to wear! (I let her pick her dress since she is my only bridesmaid). After talking to Sharon, we decided to have Sharon custom make a dress for her. She charged $100 for making the dress from scratch (fabric not included). She also custom make wedding dress but I am not sure how good she is with that.
Two weeks before the wedding, the groom still had not found a tux vest he liked (somehow all of us are super picky), so Sharon ended up making it also. She charged $70 for the vest and $10 for the tie (again, fabric is not included, we ended up getting pretty fancy fabric and buttons and that cost another $70!).
Like: She is super fast and flexible and her price could not be better. The first time I went for a fitting, I didn't plan on wearing a caroline/slip. After all the pinning I decided that I wanted to wear one and had another fitting with her. She didn't mind my extra fitting and spent a whole extra hour with me. She is super nice to work with.
Dislike: The bustle she did was a bit too high (so the dress was too short when bustled up) and the straps were a little twisted. I think she did them in a rush. It is also my fault for not noticing that when I had my final fitting as I could have asked her to fix it.
