I actually forfited my deposit on my original photographer. I thought I was getting more "bang for my buck", but then I realized that good pictures are more important than enlargements and albums because I cannot redo the photos, but I can always get enlargements or albums on my own.

Danielle and Andreana were SO awesome to work with!! Super talented, friendly, and great attention to detail! I cannot say enough about Skye Blu! She took over 1500 photos.

She also shot my boudoir pictures and it was such a wonderful experience. She made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera.

We got SO many compliments on our ceremony!

As one of my friends said, "It felt very intimate, even with 200 guest."

Another friend said, "There was no bad seat in the house."

Everyone enjoyed the beauty of the garden and especially the koi pond. Many guest stayed until the very end to hang out, feed the koi, and just enjoy the setting. The garden was such a beautiful setting for the ceremony. The children (and adults) loved the koi pond and feeding the kois.

The garden coordinators are actually CSULB students. They don't guarantee that you'll get the same person at rehearsal and the actualy wedding, but they take notes at every meeting and keep it in your file. Lucky for us, we had the same person from our consultation through the wedding day.

We never went over the schedule and ceremony with her until the night of rehearsals though, so rehearsals went long (2 hours). We could've saved time that night by meeting with her beforehand, but she never brought it up and we didn't think about it. But the day of the wedding went very smooth. We handed over everything the night of rehearsals and they took care of all the set up.

My cousin used them at her wedding and the food was AMAZING! They cooked everything on site.

We had them cater our lunch reception at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden. It was great food for a great price!

The chocolate fountain was a major hit. Everything was nicely set up to match our theme.

The staff was very professional, attentive and friendly. Very easy to work with and reliable.

I did not have a good experience with Susana. Her inital quote was $200 to take in at the sides, hem and bustle. Then she added $50 to press (total of $250). I told her that I'll press it myself to save $50. She refused to discount because she said she will have to press it anyway as she sews. so why is she charging me if she would do it anyway?

So I go in for my 1st fitting and the dress was a little loose and long. The bustle looked horrible!!! She did a one point under bustle. I complained that I didn't like the bustle but she just kept insisting that you just have to play around with it for pictures, but all bustles get messy anyway because you move around, so she refused to redo it.

I told her the dress was too loose, but instead of fixing the dress, she tightened the strap inside the dress to just hold onto me tighter, but that doesn't change the fit or look of the dress. The hem was also half an inch too long, so my dress was dragging, but she insisted that all dresses do that anyway.

She had an excuse for everything and didn't want to fix anything for me. She was leaving for vacation a week from when I picked up my dress and she still had 17 dresses to work on, so she really just wanted me out.

I would not reccomend her at all. She didn't even finish closing up the side seam that she undid. I ended up having to redo the bustle myself and taking in the bodice myself 2 weeks before the wedding. And I had to get taller heels because the length was just too long.

I had my boudoir makeup done by Meghan and she was so wonderful to work with! she was explaining how she was trained for print work, so she was drilled to be very precise. People who do make up for moving people have the flexibility to be a little sloppy with their work because the person is constantly moving. But for print work, that's a still shot where every little detail will be frozen in one image, so every little detail has to be perfect. her prices are very reasonable too! $200 for brides and $75 for bridesmaids. i would've booked her if i didn't already have a makeup person.

i did not have a good experience here. I went in and choose couple dresses that I liked. After trying them on, I fell in love with a Paloma Blanca dress, but she kept telling me that "it's not working for you." so she brings me these other dresses that are completely different than what i asked for (i wanted lace and she brought me these satin dresses). she insisted that i try them on before passing judgement, so i did. i wasn't too crazy about it, but she kept saying how GREAT it looks on me and that my original choice doesn't look good. when she stepped out to get something, i took a peak at the dresses to see why she kept trying to pressure me to go with these other 2 choices of hers rather than mine and i find out that my dress was only $1700 while her two were $3900. i told her i'll think about it and asked her to just size me first for each dres and i'll come back with my mom to make a decision. she sizes me in the Paloma Blanca dress as a size 8. i ordered an 8 from Pearls Place and it turns out that it's 2 sizes too large. I took it to Susana (from paulette's ambiance) and she said that she used to work at Mary Linn's and they size you large on purpose so that you have to pay for alterations. She said i really should've gotten a 4 or 6.

Mon Amie was the first place I dress shopped at. The sales lady kept trying to push these $10K dresses on me. I asked for cheaper, and so she brought me $7K dresses. :\ i asked her for anything cheaper, and she says, "we do, but you're not going to like them!" and so she brings in these UGLY dresses that obviously came off some old sales rack. She didn't give me many options.

oh yeah, my best friend bought her dress at Mon Amie and her $1200 dress quickly became $2200 when she walked out with her dress.

i went to marylynn's in pasadena and fell in love with a Paloma Blanca dress that they were charging $1700 for + tax. i asked them to measure me for my size, then i went home and called up Pearls Place and got it for $1100!!! and shipping was only like $12 and NO TAX!! the dress was scheduled to arrive in 8 weeks but came in 6! :) only thing, which is not Pearl's Place's fault is that marylynn's actually sized me wrong, so the dress was over a size too big. i heard salons do that on purpose so that you have to pay for alterations. so make sure you get sized correctly. but better too big and take in than too small and let out. :)
