Jenny Yoo dresses are classic! I have not gotten mine yet, but I cannot wait (I bought the Riley). The only gripe I have is that my dress is one month late (reason being it is a Spring 2010 collection dress), and they charge you for the full amount up front instead of taking a deposit amount, and then charging the rest once they are finished with the dress. On the upside, their staff is very helpful and responsive, and for the most part, the prices are pretty reasonable. Overall, my experience with Jenny Yoo has been pretty good!

We chose one style for my maid of honor and two bridesmaids in two different colors (one for MOH, and the other one for both bm's). They were very helpful at J.Crew, but a little confusing as well. When I called to ask what size I needed to order for the girls, the gal on the phone told me that they were true to size, and she should order whatever my BM normally wears. However when I told her the sample dress (which IS her size), was too big for her, she said to go a size smaller. Yet for the other girls she said to order their normal size. So, she contradicted herself, and made it a confusing and tedious process. We ended up ordering all of them in a size smaller, and while one of the sizes worked out, we had to exchange the other two for different sizes. So far, one of those 2nd shipments has not worked, so we have to return it and we'll be searching elsewhere the MOH's dress. J.Crew has beautiful dresses, however I just wish they offered more help regarding sizing and had more knowledge about if certain styles would fit certain body types or not (since their sample dresses only come in one size).

My fiance and I just booked Food For Thought as our caterer for our wedding, and we are so excited for them to be a part of our big day. Our tasting with them was immaculate. When we arrived we noticed our names on a big screen tv, which was a sweet little touch. Our representative is Ashley, and she was very professional but also easygoing. The gentlemen serving our food was Alex, and he did a fantastic job as well. We were able to sample eight appetizers, and a few main courses, as well as a couple late night snacks we'd chosen. It was the best lunch break I've ever taken. On our way out, Alex said something about how they cleaned the snow off of our car, and we both thought he was joking until we stepped outside and... our windshield and windows were clean! What a nice surprise that was. We walked away knowing we would have very little to worry about regarding the caterer on wedding day, and that is a huge help.

I will be updating this review after our wedding, but for now, we definitely recommend looking into Food For Thought as your caterer!

After our original wedding venue fell through, my fiance and I were lucky to stumble upon an article that was written up on the most unique wedding venues in Chicago, including Zhou B. Art Center. We met up with Donna one Saturday morning, and simple fell in love with the space. They have a garden space three blocks away from the Art Center, and that is where we will have our ceremony. Our reception will then take place at the Art Center, on their entire first floor. Donna was so helpful and informative and has continued to be a good source of information during our wedding planning. I am super excited for the wedding, and will certainly update this review once the big day has happened!

Caleb is the photographer we chose for our upcoming wedding and I cannot wait to see what he comes up with. It has already been so exciting working with him, and our wedding is still 5 months away. He shot our engagement photos at a few different locations, and brought up the creative and splendid idea of making a "save the date" video. He also interviewed us and the videos and interview have made the few people who have seen them (so far) weep with joy! His photos are unique and capture a moment really nicely. Caleb really knows how to make you look forward to having those pictures that will help you remember that special day forever...
