Note: I chose an obscure date because I can't post a review until AFTER the wedding but this is a review on my experience with Monte Carlo before booking with them. This all happened in May/June 2011.

We were planning on holding our ceremony and reception at this location but I was absolutely appalled by the customer service and felt compelled to write my very first review to help future brides steer clear of the Monte Carlo! I swear I am not a high-maintenance bride by any means, but with planning our wedding from LA, I was hoping to get some straight-forward answers and not have my time wasted. I originally sent in an inquiry form on the Monte Carlo Wedding website and received an email with a breakdown of the ceremony packages they provide. I responded to that email with some questions and asked to see their reception menu option but never received a response. I eventually called the phone number they provided and asked to speak to the girl originally helping me (I'll leave names out of this since this is an especially harsh review) she was apparently busy so another girl helped me. She took down my email address and promised to send out the catering/reception menus. After I received the email and went over the attached menus, I still had a few questions that weren't answered by looking through the menus so I sent an email to the new girl helping me with a list of my questions.. but no response. I eventually got an email response from yet a THIRD girl with the EXACT SAME menu attachments the second girl had sent me, but no answers to my questions. Really? I've dealt with 3 different girls and have had my time completely wasted. Apparently they are only capable of sending out the same email responses over and over again without actually reading the contents. We were pretty set on holding both our ceremony and reception at the Monte Carlo because of their reasonable prices but after this experience I can only tell future brides to avoid this place like the plague.

Note: We ended up booking our ceremony at Caesar's and reception at Lawry's The Prime Rib. I've been VERY pleased with the responsiveness of both locations and the prices are definitely comparable!
