I'm not a bride's bride, but wedding photos have always been my holy grail. When it came time to pick a wedding photography, all I wanted was photo journalism - candid & unadulterated moments caught on "film." We crossed paths w/ Nate and Rissa and found our match: the married duo has extensive photo journalistic experience. This built in a level of trust for me. In fact, I didn't even meet them until the day of the wedding (which surprised them!)

On the day of, the two brought along an assistant and went right to work. They came early. They stayed lated. They de-shined my face, brought us water, laid on the ground. Every angle, captured. Funny faces, crazy dance moves, spontaneous kisses and hugs - all ours forever. Of course they also captured still shots (flowers, dress, etc), family portraits and amazing head shots of almost all our guests. And they made seemingly endless portraits a good time - Nate kept us laughing with numerous Austin Powers/Borat impressions.

Ultimately - now that we've seen the photos - the team showed our day in the greatest light possible (literally and figuratively). My only regret is that we ran them ragged.

We haven't posted the images online yet, but you can check out a few on our blog: http://ryanandqui.com/?p=165. (They're the photos on the right, not the smaller images on the left.)
