They are all owned and operated by Michelle Mears who wants nothing more than your money, NOT, your happiness for your wedding day. Con artist from one of the baddest batches I have ever come across

After reading all the reviews (only pay attention to the negative one's as I am 100% sure Michelle made up the positive ones herself) I feel lucky to have gotten my dresses and bridesmaids dresses, 4 days before my wedding.

This woman really needs help as what she does really isn't right.

I was married in late 2007 and must say getting my wedding dress from La Bella and Michelle was the worst part of the entire experience. I initially came in to the shop 7 months before my wedding, found my dream dress and specifically asked if Michelle (evil himself) could facilitate me and my 5 bridesmaids in that time period, she agreed and said everything would be in 6-8 weeks before my wedding. Joke was on me however. WHAT A LIE. I actually ended up getting my dress on Thursday for my wedding that Sunday. I wasn't even the color I ordered, but at that point, what could I do!? Atleast the dress was pretty and design I ordered, which seems to not always be the case. It was a stressful 7 months of dealing with her, in which I ended up calling the cops on her, and was told I was not the first, not would I be the last to do so...by a police officer! If only I did my homework before I entered into that place.

When thinking about my wedding gown purchase experience, that only fond memory I have is when she pawned me off to someone named Leah who she contracted out to do alterations, who was truly a GODSEND. She also has a books of gowns in her shop for half the price, and I would certainly recommend her anyday. She's located in Yonkers on Central Park Avenue.

To this day, Michelle still makes me cringe.

Please do not even entertain the idea of seeing her, as she will put you through additional stress which no onw needs, when planning a wedding.

She is a BAD and DISHONEST person. The nice reviews about her must've been concocted by her as I cannot imagine anyone having a good experience with her.

Anyone know if the law finally caught up with her and did a justice for all future brides???
