I was a little bit nervous about purchasing my gown at Bridaltown because of all the negative reviews online. My friend took me there one day and unexpectedly I fell in love with a dress (my dress) and decided to purchase it right away. I have to say that my experience with them was very positive. Gail, my sales lady, was the one recommending the dress for me to try on. My seamstress, Ann-Marie, helped me with alteration. Everything went according to plan from ordering to first fitting to final fitting. I am a very happy customer and I thank them for helping me finding my dream dress.

This was the fourth venue that we booked for our wedding and we're happy we stayed with them. We had both ceremony and reception in the same room (the auditorium). It has a stage and a balcony for concert viewing. They just renovated the room (new windows and drapery); everything looks nice. It's a historic building and they really try to maintain it well. One of the rules was not to wear stilettos to avoid any damages the floor. It was more a problem for me than to our guests because i did want to wear stilletos with my wedding gown (luckily i discovered heel stoppers). They allow outside caterers, which was what we wanted. Their kitchen (that comes with this room) is a little old and small, but it was sufficient just to warm up the food. When we signed the contract, we let the manager acknowledge that we're having fresh flower petals on the floor for ceremony. However, somebody else was supervising on the wedding day and he was upset about it. Our DOC had to talk to him and they arranged a win-win solution (the petals had to be removed right away after the recessional). It got a little hot for a while in the room during dancing. Just make sure to tell the supervisor to control the AC better. All in all, I would recommend this venue to brides in the area.
