One month before my wedding and I was worried sick about my flowers. Already booked with a different florist for 9 months and every mock-up appointment left me not pleased. Sleepless nights about the flowers for my wedding and as it got closer I did not know what to do. Called my wedding consultant expressing my desire for a new florist one month prior to my wedding and she had a great relationship with Gary Tomason at Shirvan Design. In a nervous state with knots in my stomache about my current situation I felt at ease with my appointment with Gary because of my great relationship with my wedding consultant. When we met, Gary could not have been nicer, more professional and caring about my needs and seeing my vision for my flowers for my wedding. Everyone that knows me knew...flowers for my wedding was THE most important on my list for my special day. I have always felt that the flowers for your wedding will make or brake the event. It sets the tone snd makes a statement about the style of your wedding, the class, the one thing your guests eyes are drawn to when they walk into your reception or ceremony. To me, flowers were everything and they had to be perfect! Right away Gary picked up on my vision and on our second appointment he came to my venue to get the feel of the place, the space and my vision. He sketched and created my Chuppah for my ceremony. My husband and I both from different faiths...and Gary had a drive to make both our visions become one. I was blown away by the quality of Gary's flowers at Shirvan Design and the attention to detail he has a gift. By our third and final appointment we had everything down perfect and I felt as if Gary had known me for a long time. My vision for my wedding was elegant, romanctic and classy. He took those three words and at my wedding as my husband and I went table to table those same words came from our guests mouths as they described our wedding. As I drove up that day to my venue in the limo and saw Gary and his team setting up my ceremony flowers I was already tearing up in awe of what he was creating for me and for my husband...and for all our guests. Our wedding was amazing...it was elegant, it was classy and oh, it had romance! On our honeymoon as we reflected of our wedding and how amazing it was...Gary and Shirvan Design was a major highlight of conversation. When we returned from our honeymoon the same comments came from our family and friends who attended our wedding. In fact, people have been asking for Gary's contact information. Brides who are getting married this year and next, family friends who are designers, and guests who would like to use them in the near future. Next year my cousin is getting married. She is my wedding party and I in hers and I am so excited that she is going to call Gary to have him do the flowers for her wedding too. We did spend a generous amount on our flowers but Gary can take any busget big or small an deliver what the bride and groom vision for their special day. Thank you Gary and Shirvan Design.
