I bought my Flower Girl's dress here. The quality wasn't the best but the price was a lot better than other places and they have many different styles and colors.
They also sell Juniors dresses there, which may work for bridesmaids dresses.
They have other locations at Great Mall in Milpitas & Oakridge Mall in South San Jose.

The first time I visited Presidio Chapel, I fell in love with it. It was very quaint for a smaller ceremony (150 people). They had a mural room that we were considering for a Chinese tea ceremony. They even had a wedding bell that the bride herself could ring as she was about to walk down the aisle. The chapel has their own parking lot, which is great for San Francisco.
Now the downside: The main reason we didn't choose this chapel was because when I was leaving the chapel, I looked to the left and next to the chapel is the National Cemetery. For traditional Chinese people, this is a taboo to have the cemetery next to the wedding site.

We took a weekend cruise on Carnival to Ensenada a few months ago and had so much fun. We can't wait to go on another cruise. The best part of a cruise is that it's all inclusive - food, entertainment, & room. Even 24 hour room service is included. Food is served to you the moment you board the ship to the moment you leave the ship. There's 24 hour pizza, soft serve frozen yogurt, juices, hot & iced tea, & coffee and even midnight buffets. On formal night, everyone at our table was able to order two entrees each- lobster & prime rib. We saw 3-4 comedy shows and 2 stage shows. There are activites to burn off all that food you eat: outdoor track on top of the ship, indoor gym, ping pong, and pools. There was even miniature golf on the ship. There's a casino and clubs.
People normally associate Carnival as a party cruise and though you can do that, there was a good mix of people there- young, old and families.
I heard Alice play her harp at a wedding and she sounded great! I thought a harp would be much quieter but the sound projected very well.

I went here for a bachelorette party. It was fun. Once a month they have a Ladies Night, where they give you long stem roses and have the Men of Exotica there doing a male revue show and if you put some money on your bachelorette, they will show her a good time.

I went here for my cousin's bachelorette party. Originally I thought the massage was on the expensive side but now it sounds about average to me (I had a cheaper massage elsewhere and had a terrible experience).
With our massages, we also got access to their amenities such robes, slippers, locker, whirlpool, steam, deluge shower, therapy showers, and personal amenities (hair dryer, curling iron, q-tips, lotion, etc). They had juice and apples in the massage waiting room.
After our massages, we went to Paragon Restaurant for lunch, which is one of the restaurants at the resort.

I went here for my friend's bachelorette party and it was fun! They have this lounge area in the back that can accommodate about 9 people at a time. They say they can do up to 30 ppl and up to 3 hours.
The MOHs were able to bring in flowers, champagne, cider, cupcakes, fruit and favors to hand out to us while we got our manis/pedis. They were also able to bring in a CD to play the bride's favorite music and a DVD to watch the bride's favorite movie on their large LCD TV.
They used brand new files, buffers, and pumice. They even packed it up for us so we can take it home for later use. They offer the following brands of polish - OPI, Essie and even Channel!
They have a 5 day no chip policy so you can go back and repair any chips. (I wasn't able to take advantage of this because I live in the south bay and it wasn't worth the drive back).
According to their website, they include 20% gratuity and a $35/person min. They also charge for no shows so it's always a bad thing if you have flaky friends.

Cesar and his assistant were with me from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and that doesn't include the time it took them to travel from Sacramento (I'm estimating 1 1/2 hours each way). Cesar had 3 cameras and his assistant had 2 and they took unlimited shots (it ended up being close to 3000 photos). Many Bay Area photographers limit you to 8 hours and you need to pay OT or an extra fee to have unlimited hours, photos & albums. My package included a 35 page (70 sides) 9.5" x 13.5" flushmount leatherbound album (made in Italy), 4 mini parent albums, 360 4x6's, proofs & album on DVDs, and a 16x20 framed canvas.
I received many compliments on my album. PIB.
Cesar was also voted "2006 Wedding Photographer of the Year" by Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley.

Wedding insurance covers cancellation/postponement, vendors going out of business, lost deposits, damage to wedding attire, gifts, photos and video. It's worth it to pay $405 to cover a $50,000 wedding. That's less than a 1% cost. There are policies to cover $7,500 weddings up to $175,000 weddings. One of my vendors went out of business, luckily after my wedding, but had it been before my wedding, the wedding insurance would have recovered my deposits.

I love Costco. From flowers, alcohol, invitations, photos and jewelry, you can actually get many things for your wedding.
I found a pair of Journey Diamond earrings last year for my wedding at Costco. Journey Diamond has been "In" after my wedding but before my wedding, I was having a hard time finding long drop diamond styles.
After my wedding, I purchased photo greeting cards with my wedding photo that I used as wedding announcements & thank you cards. The envelopes that they provided had a nice gold foil on the flap so it was very elegant. Of course because it's Costco, the price was very good too. We also got an 8x10 and 5x7 on matte photo paper of wedding photos that our cousin took.
I love Costco flowers too. Two dozen roses for $14.99 and the quality is great. Whenever we buy roses for gifts and for our home, we get them from Costco. I didn't buy flowers from Costco for my wedding because I didn't DIY but I did buy them from Costco for my parents' 25th anniversary where we decorated the 3 tier wedding cake and cake table with Costco flowers.
