Bria worked with me deciding on colors and flowers. She gave me some ideas and photos to look at and then asked me what I liked. The flowers were gorgeous- we had a purple and yellow theme. She put all the ladies flowers in mason jars with ribbons around them so that when they wanted a break from carrying them (like when they were dancing), the could put them there. I was impressed with her knowledge and professionalism.

Classical guitarist was classy and the music was beautiful. He also gave us a free CD to remember the music and the day. He was also willing to work with a friend of mine who was singing- very easygoing about accompanying her.

Gorgeous hotel in old Montreal. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is absolutely amazing with all the wonderful touches you would want on your honeymoon- chocolates on bed, fresh flowers, nice linens, cozy robes, etc.

She is a personal friend who did our wedding. However, the company Journeys of the Heart (www.journeysoftheheart.org) is where she got her ideas. She is friends with the people who began that company and I contacted her thinking that is where she was. So one could go to Journeys of the Heart to get a very personalized and secular ceremony.

Sharon was amazing. We met with her two times before our wedding to talk about readings, ideas and for her to get to know us (she knew me but not my husband prior). She had some interesting ideas on where/ when to put the readings and helped with vows, blessing and ring exchange. She also gave a great “homily” that she drew from our love stories. It was very personalized. Although she had never done one before, I know she got ideas from www.journeysoftheheart.org so I would recommend them.

Advertised for a photographer on craigslist and he responded. He was great- prompt, professional and the pictures came out well. He gave us the pics on a CD and offered to do other sizes and put them in frames as well. The only thing I would say could have been better was that he could have posed us more. Maybe I should have had more of an idea of who I wanted posed, but I think he could have offered some ideas as well.

The candy bar was the hit of the wedding. We were allowed to select 10 different kinds of candy- anything we could think of she said. She had all the containers for them and they were displayed in the bar area. People were allowed to make bags to take home and we had little dishes out so they could enjoy the candy at the reception as well. Everyone commented to the yummy treats!

The hotel was nice and convenient. They also accommodated us on short notice as we decided last minute to stay there. They did a great job with the wake up call and had fresh coffee in the lobby. The only downfall was the bed situation- two kind of small beds instead of one big one. It ended up being ok as we were both exhausted and only there a few hours but a larger bed would have been nice.

We used this transportation to get from the upper lot at Valley Green to the lower lot, where the inn is located. I give them 5 stars because they were on time and efficient and managed to deal with the very narrow turn-around at the lower lot.

This location is very decadent and formal. This was great- we liked the spot a lot. However, the food was just mediocre- we had a chicken parmigian that was just ok. Also, the open bar was not open long enough nor did they open it up after the dinner even though people were clearly hanging out. The staff made it clear that they were ready to leave. The room we had though was very nice.

The invitations were nice enough but we had wanted more green options, which they did not have too many of. We also had to reprint the response cards as we forgot to write the dinner choices on them the first time- I feel as though the company could have done a better job at directing us and asking for the menu options. Otherwise, the invites were nice and we received them promptly.
