I will give Mike 2 stars for being pleasant leading up to my wedding and on the actual day. I agree that his pricing is great. But with almost every bride on here, he became M.I.A. when it came to actually completing our wedding video. He didn't return my phone calls or emails for months. He finally responded to the third email my husband sent and delivered our DVDs nearly five months after the wedding. The DVD packaging was nice as he included photos from the wedding. But, he printed the wrong date of our wedding on the DVD sleeve. That I realize is not a big deal.
Then we play the DVD and discover that Mike left my husband's audio on for the entire ceremony! This, after Mike reassured my hubby on the wedding day that any unnecessary audio will be edited out. Yet everything hubby said under his breath (from "my nose is running" to "where do we go now?" and private conversation) is on the video. This is totally unprofessional. And now I don't want to have a viewing party with friends and family. To make matters worse, I have not heard from Mike after I requested that he fix his mistake. It's a shame. A wedding video is something you'll have for the rest of your life and it should be something you're proud of. Hopefully, Mike will respond before the year ends. I just don't understand why his customer service skills are so poor. Out of the 15 vendors I hired for my wedding, he is the only one I've had problems with.
UPDATE: 4/3/10 - To all of you still waiting for a response with Mike, I'm truly sorry. I am experiencing the same problem and it's really frustrating. I just don't know what to do. My one year anniversary is approaching and I still can't believe this wedding video issue isn't resolved. URGH. I checked the Better Business Bureau and wasn't surprised to see that Mike has an "F" rating!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marlin and Marlene are the best duo ever. They were so wonderful to work with and their photography speaks for itself. I am so happy I selected them to capture my wedding day. Not only were they accommodating, on time and fun, the shots they took were artistic and beautiful. Best part of all, they will work with your budget! (I interviewed two other photogs before Marlin who were just snobby, stubborn and not worth my time.)

Zena did my makeup for my wedding in April 2009 and was so easy to work with, on time and professional. She was recommended to me by my wedding coordinator. I knew I wanted to work with her from the moment I saw the look she created for me during the trial. She also did the makeup for my mom and three bridesmaids. Everyone looked stunning! If you like the natural look, she will go light, or can really dress up your eyes for a dramatic look. She is able to work with all skin types and colors and uses great products. I only had to touch up my eyeliner on my lower lids and lip gloss during the ceremony and reception. My one recommendation is to watch the makeup process along the way. The set up in my hotel was not so great so there wasn't a mirror in front of me when Zena was creating my look. Therefore, I really only saw the final product a few minutes before I needed to head to the wedding venue and needed her to change a few things in a jiffy (a different blush color, more eyeliner). She was very accommodating. I can honestly say I felt beautiful all day, and just like the other brides' posts, my makeup lasted a good 14 hours. I hope I can work with her again. She is a true talent!
