Oriental Trading Company is an online-based party/event supply company. They have an enormous selection of wedding supplies, such as bubbles, toasting flutes, balloons, favor boxes, and more, most of which can be personalized at no extra charge!

Some of the items they carry look cheap and rather tacky, but all of the things I've purchased have been of good quality. They often have promotions, such as free shipping with a certain amount purchased. Their website is: www.orientaltrading.com

The David's Bridal in Athens, Georgia does not conform to the negative stereotypes often associated with other David's Bridal locations. My visit was pleasant and my personal assistant was very sweet and professional. I did not feel pressured, nor was I ignored. She managed to assist me the entire time without making me feel overwhelmed with choices.

I ended up purchasing my dress at this location, and it is beautiful and well-made (and much cheaper than similar dresses elsewhere!). The only reason I am giving this location 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the alterations department. I was quoted a price for having a halter strap added when I first purchased my dress, yet when I went back a few weeks later, another lady acted as if she had never heard of such an alteration being done.

The Lady and Sons is a famous restaurant in Savannah, Georgia, owned by Food Network legend Paula Deen! The restaurant has a private banquet room that can accommodate up to 100 people comfortably for events. The cost to reserve the room was only $200, and the buffet pricing is an extremely good deal! For an all-you-can-eat and drink buffet, the cost is only about $21 per person (and this includes tax and gratuity).

The wait to eat at The Lady and Sons is usually over an hour, and the food is absolutely incredible! The staff is also pleasant to work with.

The Mansion on Forsyth Park is in historic downtown Savannah, Georgia. It is a restored 1800s mansion, which now functions as an upscale hotel and event venue. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous, and has a huge ballroom and outside courtyard in which to host events.

While the staff are extremely friendly, the price is quite high. Just to rent the courtyard for a 20-minute ceremony will cost $2,500, and if you choose to host your reception with The Mansion, the food and beverage minimum will be around $7,000.

I have to do almost all of my communication over email since I do not live in Savannah, and it sometimes takes several days for a response. The event coordinator at The Mansion was very helpful in person, though, and we are looking forward to having our ceremony at this site.

KHMason Photography is based out of Macon, Georgia. The duo is made up of Kenneth and Heather Mason, who are both extremely fun and great to work with! They specialize in wedding and engagement photography, and you can tell that they really love what they do.

My fiance and I have hired KHMason to photography our September 2009 wedding. We visited with them in person before signing our contract, and we had so much fun! Their work is gorgeous and they are so courteous and friendly!
