Kimball Hall, and Julie Stephens who runs and owns Kimball Hall, are amazing. Julie made me feel like the most important bride in her life while she helped me plan the wedding. She made everything so easy, elegant, fun, exciting! She organized all of the vendors, and whenever I wanted or needed anything I just had to call her and she took care of it. Kimball Hall has tons of southern charm and beautiful gardens and a gorgeous new ballroom! I will definitely be holding more events here.

Wow. That is what I have to say about Kimball Hall. I LOVED planning my wedding because Julie, who runs Kimball Hall, made it easy, fun and exciting! Kimball Hall is a beautiful setting, with beautiful grounds, lots of southern charm and a gorgeous new ballroom. But what really sets Kimball Hall apart is Julie Stephens. She made me feel like I was the most important person in her life while we were planning the wedding. I ended up planning the wedding from Boston, but she gave me her cell phone and was always available to me. Whatever I wanted she made it possible. She organized ALL of the vendors, the caterer, florist, DJ, band, photographer. Furthermore, she offers package deals that have all of those things included so you only have to write one check. Our reception with everything included was about $25,000; I think I could have done it cheaper somewhere else, but the convenience of Kimball Hall and the sincerity of Julie and all of her help were worth thousands alone. Everyone loved Kimball Hall so much that we are throwing out social rules and will use Kimball Hall for my mother's 50th birthday and any other large event. I wish I could give Kimball Hall and Julie especially 6 out of 5 stars!
Many people who look at Kimball Hall will also look at Primrose Cottage and other historic houses in the area. However, those houses are owned by a company and they are VERY 9 to 5 and will not go out of their way to help you. At Kimball Hall, Julie runs it and owns it, and she is extremely invested in all of her brides.

My bridesmaids and I went to 3-13 salon in Marietta to get our hair done. Everyone turned out beautiful. I have short hair and I wanted a sweeping up-do that made it look like I had movie-star hair. They put in extensions that matched my hair color perfectly (no one could tell that it wasn't my hair)and then did a beautiful 20's style up-do. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous and no one had problems with their hair throughout the extremely long day. Also, when we got to the salon, they had breakfast and drinks awaiting us...it was very nice and relaxing!

I did a lot of things through David's Bridal because you get a discount with everything you buy if you get your dress there. The invitations I got were a white card on a black velvet backing, with a big black bow going across. Extremely elegant, I can't tell you how many compliments I received on the invitations. They were also incredibly affordable, for 300 invitations, we spent around $600...although everyone assumed we spent a fortune because they really were just so beautiful

Duane is the nicest and most professional person I have met. He did such a great job and his price is extemely reasonable. In our package, for $2400, we got engagement photos plus a magazine style proof album of all of our engagement photos, unlimited coverage the day of the wedding with proof albums with all of the photos in loose form, and a 24 page coffee table book and a CD of all of our images a year after. He also provided cute cards that he handed out at the wedding with our picture on it and directions on how to access the photos online. He was so considerate, without even asking if we wanted him to, he came to the rehearsal to meet people and just get to know our style a little better. He also came to the salon where I was getting my hair done to take pictures (the salon was quite far for him to drive). We have gotten so many compliments, and in fact he is entering some of the photos he took of our wedding in a competition. He has a great classic style but also has some artsy pictures that he took. My mother loved his work so much that she is having him take photos of her 50th birthday party. He's one of the few photographers that offer a proof album with all of the photos and yet he is less expensive than anyone else I looked into!

We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at Maggianos, and it was amazing! First, it was so elegant, the ballroom was beautifully decorated and had a very rich air to it. We had an 8 course meal and an open bar, and the price was quite reasonable (~$5,000). We also had a tasting the month before and we were able to choose the meal that we wanted. Besides the tasting, the people at Maggianos took care of everything, it was an extremely easy process. Of course the food was delicious and we had so many leftovers that we took home and froze (we're still eating them two months later).
