Working with Lucy Tu of Beauty Unveiled and her hair and makeup team was an absolute pleasure, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a creative, responsive, caring and professional hair stylist and makeup artist!

Lucy did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as the hair and makeup for 2 mothers, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 older sisters-of-the-groom. She and her team listened attentively to what each lady wanted, took a look at our outfits and accessories, and made some suggestions. She really worked with each person individually to create a hair and makeup look that was perfect for them.

Lucy and her team arrived right on time and began setting up their equipment right away. They re-arranged the furniture in the hotel suite to take advantage of the lighting and equipment available. Within a couple of minutes, they started setting the hair and doing make-up. I was curious as to how the makeup would stay on from 10am all the way through the night, but it did! Lucy uses only the highest quality makeup and hair products and they stay on all night long! She gave me a free "touch up" kit with powder, mascara, lip liner, lip gloss, and blotting paper, but honestly, I only used the blotting paper once. Everything else was perfect and I wasn't thinking about the way I looked - I just danced the night away feeling gorgeous!

I can't tell you how comfortable I was with Lucy, and how she put my entire bridal party at ease. She's funny, energetic, and outgoing, but also kind and caring. All of my friends and relatives complimented me on chosing a wonderful person to work with on that hectic and stressful day. And, everyone in our group was 100% satisfied with how their hair and makeup looked -- especially me! I can't stop looking at my photos!

On top of all this, Lucy's work is a great deal -- I interviewed other stylists who were going to charge me much more than Lucy, for a lesser end product. Lucy's also very responsive and easily reachable by phone and email, which is great for people like me who like to keep in touch.

I am so glad that I worked with Lucy. She made my day truly special!

Working with Amy of Bride and Bloom Flowers was one of the best experiences I had in planning my wedding. Amy is creative, enthusiastic, and incredibly positive. For our wedding, I didn't know what I wanted in terms of flowers, but I knew what I DIDN'T want -- I didn't want frills, huge expensive arrangements, over-the-top bouquets, etc. I explained to Amy that I have a minimalist but elegant vision and she worked with me to create a very unique floral theme for our wedding. Amy even accommodated my parents by doing a mock-up with them to make sure they were comfortable with booking her for the wedding.

Amy's end product was absolutely beautiful. She used high-quality materials and paid lots of attention to detail. Even before the wedding day began, I had absolute peace of mind because I knew Amy was going to create something spectacular. (If you email me, I'll gladly share photos of Amy's creations).

For those of us who value communication, there isn't a better match than Amy. She responds promptly to emails and phone calls and is open and understanding of your needs. She's very professional, but also friendly and considerate -- the type of vendor you want to continue to stay in touch with.

Another quick piece of information: my fiance and I are Persian, and Amy did our Sofreh Aghd design as well as our flowers. Her assistant, Goli, helped with the Sofreh Design. The Sofreh was absolutely gorgeous and unlike anything I'd ever seen. My aunt (who's been to lots and lots of weddings!) told me it was the most gorgeous one she's ever seen!

All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Bride and Bloom flowers :)
