Kelly Anderson, a graphic artist at Postnet was wonderful to consult with on my wedding programs. I gave her my information, the size, type of paper I wanted and a general vision for the look. Kelly then created a beautiful document and provided me with a proof, etc. She chose a beautiful cardstock to run them on and punched holes in them for ribbon bows at the top. She even designed a beautiful watermark motif on them. I must say they looked very expensive, but yet were fairly inexpensive to produce. She met all our deadlines in a timely manner and shared my joy in planning for my wedding..

The owner, Maria is very nice and goes out of her way to service you most professionally. I tried on numerous gowns and bridesmaid dresses there. She special ordered shoes for me and made sure they matched my gown exactly. I also purchased small wedding accessories there like garter, purse, gown hanger, etc. You need to phone ahead for hours and for an appointment. She had some great prices and a good selection of gowns on sale. She had a large assortment of bridesmaid dresses

Belle Vive Spa and Wellness Center is a great place for showers. They rent out rooms of an historic house turned into a beautifully decorated spa. Your wedding party can get manicures, pedicures, facials, hair styles, massages, etc. They have special wedding packages and the owner, Cathy is great to work with.

My wedding party received excellent service on all of the services provided and in a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. The staff was very professional. We then met upstairs for a lingerie shower and lots of fun. The set up was beautiful.

The resort was beyond our wildest dreams. The staff and workers really make you feel welcome. We totally felt appreciated and special. We read all the brochures, and who hasn't seen their countless commercials, but staying at Sandals really was an experience like no other. From the many incredible activities like zip lining through a rain forest and snorkeling , to relaxing, to having a little "private time" Sandals covers it all. The food and entertainment was great. There's certainly never a dull moment. I don't think that Sandals can not be out done when it comes to a wonderful vacation.

The whole experience was my favorite.

Visible from Interstate #77, easy access, walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and movie theater. They provided a block of rooms for our guests with a discount. Our guests had nothing but great compliments from the time of their arrival to leaving.

We got a free Honeymoon suite since our guests and wedding party booked so many rooms. They took great care of us.

Donald Williams is a teacher and most easy to work with. I met him at a bridal fair and received a discount because of that meeting. He is easy to pre-plan with and plays exactly what you have provided on your request sheet. He will do as much or as little as you desire. He will come appropriately dressed and be most professional in his performance. He announced our wedding party when they arrived at the reception, the cake cutting, leaving of the bride and groom, etc.
He required a down payment for the date and then the balance at the close of the evening.

Ella Knox is an artist in addition to a talented baker. She has books of pictures you can browse or you can take her pictures of your ideas. She will help you incorporate your ideas and she has great suggestions. She offers a tasting session which really helps you decide what you want. I can tell you that the Kentucky Butter Cake is delicious and was enjoyed by our 250 guests. It was moist, easy to cut, beautifully decorated as planned, delivered on time, the presentation was impressive and she arranged the fresh flowers on it. Ella made the groom’s cake which was chocolate and delicious. She also offers sheet cakes made just like the wedding cake for additional servings which saves on the cost.

Melanie was very easy to work with and very flexible during the planning process. She offers sampling of her menu items and invites you to view other events she services prior to your date so you can see different set-ups, etc. Guests enjoyed the food and her staff was most professional in their dress and service skills. I rented the linens, tables, etc. through Melanie and it was all delivered and set up in a timely manner. Her staff packed up all of the left-over food in boxes for us to take home. They left the kitchen of the Magnolia Room spotless. She also took care of hiring the bartenders for me. Melanie helps you maximize your food to fit the budget you are working within and lets you give a final head count just ten days prior to the event date. She has great ideas and great vision for your event. The chicken quesadllias right off the grill were great! Lots of compliments on the true southern lemonade.

The Magnolia Room is a beautiful room with traditional décor. It provided lots of space for 250 people all seated at tables and we still had a nice setting for the cake and even a children’s table. There was ample space for the D.J. and for the dance floor. The restrooms are beautiful as is the bar and the area around it. There is a dressing area for the bride and an impressive entrance hallway, a great place for favors and gifts. The grounds around the building are well maintained and beautiful. There is ample parking all around the building. Lisa, the social coordinator was great to work with and offered great set-up ideas. All the guests were impressed by the wonderful atmosphere the room provided for the reception venue. They were very flexible with us on set up times. Ask for Lisa, she was awesome!

Ann Tate is a very organized and experienced bridal consultant and wedding planner. She does lots of destination weddings in Highlands, North Carolina where she resides. She will work with you to make your dream come true while working within your budget. She will do as much or as little as you request of her. Ann has numerous contacts for vendors and venues in the mountains. You will find her very knowledgeable, easy to work with and most professional. She will keep you on task with due dates, etc.
